A buckle assembly includes a hollow buckle body and an insertable buckle latch with elongate latching legs. A separate reciprocable slide element carried by the buckle latch element with cam surfaces, angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the buckle that overlies the free ends of the latching legs. The cam surfaces are associated with angled surfaces on the latching legs forward of the latching edges. Movement of the slide element relative to the latch element causes the cam surfaces to urge the free ends of the latching legs together to unlatch the latching legs from the hollow buckle body locking edges. In one form, a cable is connected to the separate slide element to slide the separate slide element.

Webbing buckle with release mechanism

A releasable buckle including a latch having locking arms adapted to lockingly engage a female component. A folding bridge structure extends between the locking arms. The bridge structure includes a pivot connection zone adapted to engage an elongate release member. Upon tensioning the elongate release member the locking arms are pulled inwardly to disengage from the female component.

Buckle

A three point buckle release buckle includes male and female components establishing releasable latch connections at opposite sides of the buckle and a center latch. The center latch is formed by a fixed catch point in the female component and a deflectable bar of the male component. A release button is depressed against the deflectable bar to release the center latch.

A pepper spray container assembly includes a first housing, a second housing secured to the first housing, and a pepper spray bottle securely retained by the first and second housings. A portion of the first housing is configured to be pressed into the assembly and moved forward into an activation position, thereby sliding the first housing forward relative to the second housing.

Pepper spray container assembly

A system for securing a floor mat with respect to a carpet within a vehicle that may include a carpet grommet configured to secure to the carpet, a mat grommet configured to secure to the floor mat, and a locking ring secured to or within one of the carpet grommet or the mat grommet. The locking ring includes first ramped shelves configured to securely abut reciprocal ramped surfaces formed on the other of the carpet grommet or the mat grommet. The first ramped shelves are angled in a non-perpendicular and non-parallel manner with respect to a central longitudinal axis of the system, wherein the locking ring secures the carpet grommet to the mat grommet. The carpet grommet may also include an auger configured to pierce and secure into the carpet.

Mat fastening system

A fastening system is configured to secure a first panel to a second panel while isolating the first panel from the second panel. The fastening system may include a first retainer, a sleeve, and a fastener. The first retainer may include a planar sheet and a central opening. The sleeve includes a plurality of inwardly-canted tabs, wherein a central channel is formed through the sleeve. The sleeve is secured within the central opening of the planar sheet. The fastener is positioned within the central channel of the sleeve and the inwardly-canted tabs securely engage the fastener to prevent the fastener from retreating within the sleeve. The fastening system may also include a second retainer, wherein a portion of the sleeve snapably secures to a portion of the second retainer.

Fastening assembly

Embodiments of the present invention provide a stabilizer bracket configured to securely stabilize a sway bar with respect to a vehicle frame. The stabilizer bracket includes a bar clamp defining an insulator retention area, and at least one fastener mount integrally formed with the bar clamp. The bar clamp and the fastener mount are formed as a single unit from a single piece of material.
