Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to mental health anomaly detection and guidance. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a mental health user system can create a baseline user behavior profile for a user. The mental health user system can monitor a behavior of the user. The mental health user system can determine whether the behavior of the user is anomalous in comparison to the baseline user behavior profile. The mental health user system can, in response to determining that the behavior of the user is anomalous, provide a treatment to the user to return the behavior to be consistent with the baseline user behavior profile.

Mental health anomaly detection and guidance

A device, computer-readable medium, and method for adaptive simulation of celebrity and legacy avatars in extended reality environments is disclosed. In one example, a method performed by a processing system including at least one processor includes acquiring preferences from a user with respect to a virtual interaction, matching the preferences to an individual for whom an avatar is available, rendering an extended reality environment in which the virtual interaction will occur, rendering the avatar in the extended reality environment, receiving an input from the user, extracting a meaning from the input, and controlling the avatar to present an output that is responsive to the meaning, wherein the output is generated dynamically using at least one of: an image of the individual, an audio of the individual, or biographical data of the individual.

Adaptive simulation of celebrity and legacy avatars

Disclosed is managing (creating and maintaining) attendance/participation data describing remote attendance of attendees of an event, or a replay of the event. The event can be a virtual reality event. When a remote user attends an event, subsequent viewers of the event replay can see a digital representation (e.g., an avatar) of the remote user within the replay as having attended the event in-person. Subsequent replays include digital representations of the remote user and the user(s) that viewed previously replay(s) to emulate their attendance. User can manage their own attendance data, including to obtain proof of attendance. A user can delete his or her presence at an event, such that replays after the deletion do not include that user's representation. A user can go anonymous with respect to an event, such that any replays after the anonymity choice include only a generic representation of the attendee.

Participant attendance management at events including virtual reality events

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving first defining information for a first metaverse, receiving second defining information for a second metaverse, automatically identifying conflicts between the first defining information and the second defining information, automatically negotiating resolution of the conflicts between the first defining information and the second defining information to define rules for a merged metaverse, merging the first metaverse and the second metaverse according to the rules for the merged metaverse to define a destination metaverse, and interacting with a plurality of users to create for the plurality of users an immersive experience in the destination metaverse. Other embodiments are disclosed.

System and method for negotiation and permanence management of metaverse mashups

In one example, a method includes instructing a mobile device of a user to establish a connection with an application server via a first network slice, where the first network slice is configured based on an initial resource need of a network connected application executing on the mobile device and an initial set of network conditions, sending, to the mobile device, a prediction of at least one network condition for the first network slice at a time in the future, receiving, from the mobile device, an indication of an updated resource need of the network connected application, and providing, to the mobile device, instructions for establishing a connection to the application server over a second network slice, where the second network slice is configured based on the updated resource need and a current set of network conditions.

Quality of experience optimization to meet variable network demands

The disclosed technology is directed towards determining that information of interest, corresponding to as a meaningful event, is available to be captured and saved, and capturing the information. When an event is determined to satisfy a defined meaningful event likelihood criterion, sensor data (which can include media data), time data and location data are collected and associated with the meaningful event, e.g., in a data store. A presentation/package is generated from the various data, and maintained for subsequent access, e.g., for sending to a recipient. The presentation can include annotation data. The presentation can be conditionally marked for future presentation if and when certain condition data is satisfied. The presentation can be associated with at least one conditional gift.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining sensor data that includes an image of a projection environment, determining physical objects portrayed within the image, and characterizing physical properties of the physical objects according to the sensor data to obtain a characterization. A first target object of the physical objects having a first projection surface is identified according to the characterization, and a source image is modified according to the first projection surface. The modified image is provided to a projector adapted to project the modified image onto the first projection surface. Other embodiments are disclosed.

System and method to evaluate nearby surfaces and to adapt content for projection thereon

The disclosed technology is directed towards inserting user-personalized or other user-related supplementary media content into primary media content being presented to the user. The personalized media content can be inserted into available insertion slots associated with the primary media content. The inserted content is based on the context of the primary media, e.g., a location or theme of a movie scene. For example, upon obtaining primary media content that is video, supplementary media content related to a group of frames of the primary media content can be determined. Supplementary media content is combined with the primary media content at a presentation position associated with the group of frames to output modified media content. For a video, for example, the supplementary content can be inserted between scenes, overlaid onto a scene, or presented proximate a scene.

Personal media content insertion

An access gateway may control access of user devices to remote computer resource systems in a multi-resource computing environment. The access gateway may determine an assurance level associated with a user of the multi-resource environment, where the assurance level is based on multiple authentication factors included in multiple previous access requests. The access gateway may receive, from a user device, an additional access request to access an additional resource system in the multi-resource environment. Based on a comparison of the assurance level with a threshold authentication level for the additional resource system, the access gateway may allow or deny access to the additional resource system. In addition, based on the comparison, the access system may request additional authentication data from the user device.

Access control based on combined multi-system authentication factors

Methods and apparatus to provide an electronic agent are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a media receiver to receive media to present via a display device. A media monitor is to determine an identity of the media. A keyword handler is to, in response to identity of the media, retrieve a list including a keyword associated with the identified media. The keyword handler is to access a first database using the keyword to retrieve an advertisement associated with the keyword. An agent generator is to present an interactive electronic agent on the display device to present the advertisement. The presentation of the interactive electronic agent including presentation of spoken audio corresponding to text presented on the display device.

Methods and apparatus to provide an electronic agent

According to one embodiment, an authentication tool includes a memory, an interface, and a processor. The memory stores a workflow to authenticate a user to access an application. The workflow includes a first control frame for a first authentication type and a second control frame for a second authentication type. The authentication types are different and include one of a device identification, a biometric identification, a personal identification number (PIN) identification, and a security question identification. The interface receives a request to access the application and receives a first input and a second input. The processor determines a first numerical score in response to the first input and a second numerical score in response to the second input. The processor allows the user to access the application upon a determination that the scores exceed a predetermined threshold.

Authentication workflow management

A request from a party is received by a receiver from a remote system. The request from the party is received when the party attempts to obtain a service using the remote system. A selective determination is made to request, over a network, authentication of the party by a remote biometric system. A request is sent to the remote system for the party to provide a biometric sample responsive to determining to request authentication of the party. The service is provided contingent upon authentication of the party by the remote biometric system.

Voice over IP based biometric authentication

Systems and methods are describe wherein a service provider provides media services that can include, but are not limited to, telephone, radio, interactive and television services. A user residence and/or a user receiving device are designated as a primary location or device for receiving the services of the service provider. An authorization center authenticates a request to provide the service(s) at one or more secondary location/device. The verification process can include, but is not limited to, password(s), Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) and biometric identifiers such as voice, retina, finger print and DNA.

Media services with access control

A computer apparatus is remotely initiated. Confirmation of a detected and authenticated presence of a user remote from the computer apparatus is detected and confirmed via a wireless network. Booting of the computer apparatus is initiated based on receiving confirmation of the detected and authenticated presence of the user remote from the computer apparatus. The computer apparatus is booted in a protected workstate that prevents access to the computer apparatus while the user is remote and until a local presence of the user is detected and authenticated. The computer apparatus is operable to be unprotected upon confirmation of the local presence of the user. The computer apparatus is also operable to be accessible to the user upon unprotecting the workstate of the computer apparatus.

Networked device access control

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for scored factor-based authentication. A verification service can receive an authentication request from a requestor, wherein the authentication request identifies a transaction. The verification service can determine a risk associated with the transaction, an authentication score based upon the risk, and a number of groups of authentication factors, each of which can satisfy the authentication score. The verification service can provide factor group data identifying the number of groups of authentication factors to the requestor.
