A handle for displaying and manually holding an advertising sign includes a C-shaped member having two opposing channels, a front side with a slot, a rear side, and two opposing ends. A handle terminates at each of two opposing ends with a T-shaped retention member that is slidably retained within the two opposing channels. The handle further includes a central portion situated in front of the C-shaped member. A pair of end caps each adapted for fixing with one of the ends of the C-shaped member is included, at least one of which includes a first fastener. A second fastener such as two-sided tape is fixed with the rear side of the C-shaped member. With the second fastener fixed with the sign, the handle may be pulled outwardly for holding the sign, or retracted to allow suspension of the sign from a wall, or the like, at the first fastener.

A system and method for associating documents includes providing a plurality of scanned documents of different types and identifying a document type for each scanned document by comparing a determined pattern for each scanned document to known document patterns. Metadata values are extracted from each scanned document using metadata labels, and each scanned document is identified by using extracted metadata values. A stored electronic record is associated with each scanned document by employing the extracted metadata values such that a relationship between the stored electronic record and the associated scanned document is determined and stored.

A system implementing a situation-oriented directory for retrieving a stakeholder identification includes a memory storing a relational database corresponding to the situation-oriented directory including a plurality of attribute-value combinations and a plurality of stakeholder identifications, wherein the plurality of attribute-value combinations are mapped to the plurality of stakeholder identifications such that for each attribute-value combination exactly one stakeholder is mapped, and a processor in communication with the memory for receiving a query and retrieving the stakeholder identification from among the plurality of stakeholder identifications based on the attribute-value combinations.
