A portable worklight having at least two base sections that are operable between open and closed positions. The base sections are pivotally connected and when in a closed position, the base sections nest together. When in an open position, the base sections support said worklight in an upright position by providing opposingly located support sections.

Scissors worklight

A lighting system mountable to a support surface that comprises a mounting bracket and a light housing having a lens attached thereto. A bulb is located within the lens and the mounting bracket includes a first support point and a second support point. The housing also has a portion adapted to releasably engage the support points found on the mounting bracket in a sequential manner. In so doing, the first support point is engaged which allows the housing to pivot on the first support point. Next, the second support point is engaged which allows the housing to be secured to the mounting bracket in a fixed relationship.

Outdoor lamp

A halogen light fixture that houses at least one halogen lamp and is mountable to a support surface. The fixture includes an elongated housing having opposing ends and an interior space in which the halogen light source located. The fixture is mounted to a surface by mounts that secure the fixture to the support surface. The mounts are also opposingly located on the housing and are adapted to releasably engage a plurality of locations on a surface of the housing which causes the housing to tilt is a predetermined manner thereby allowing light to be directionally positioned.

Halogen light fixture

A halogen shop light having an elongated housing defining an interior space and mountable to a support surface and which includes an external receptacle. The light also includes a light source comprised of a housing, handle, lens, halogen lamp, and outwardly extending post which terminates in a ball like free end. A second post extending from the housing is also provided. The second post has inner and outer sleeves which are rotatably connected. There is also a socket in the second post which receives the ball-like free end to form an universally rotatable ball and socket connection. Wiring for energizing the lamp and the external receptacle is further provided and the wiring is placed in a channel which travels through the posts and ball.

Halogen tasklight

A portable worklight having a protective outer casing which encloses the contents of the light. The outer casing includes first and second housings which are operable between open and closed positions. When in a closed position, the working components of the light, including the lens, grill, and light source are enclosed by the two housings. In an open position, the second housing acts as a base which holds the worklight in an upright position.

Utility box worklight

A lighting system mountable to a support surface comprising a mounting bracket and a light housing having a lens attached thereto and a bulb located the lens. A photo control is also include which has a gradient of decreased opacity which controls the duration of operation of the light by adjustably limiting the amount of light sensed by the control. In addition, a shield located between the bulb and the lens may be provided. The shield is positionable about the bulb to selectively block light emitted by the bulb. The mounting bracket has a first support and a second support and the housing is adapted to releasably engage the supports in a sequential manner whereby when the first support is engaged, the housing is pivoted about the first support until the housing is in engagement with the second support. The housing then coacts with the second support so that it is secured to the mounting bracket in a fixed manner.

Indoor halogen lamp

A rigid support bracket mounts a transformer to an electrical light fixture. The bracket is formed with end portions adapted to receive fasteners therethrough for mounting the bracket to the electrical fixture. The rigid support bracket resists undesired shifting or bending of the bracket before and during transformer installation, thus providing easy and quick installation of a transformer to a light fixture.
