Method to generate models for testing and training in a retail environment for a camera simulation system

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for tracking a product item in an automated-checkout store. One of the methods includes receiving, from a plurality of sensors, data collected by the sensors, identifying an account associated with a person who enters the store, receiving data on movement of the product item collected by one or more of the sensors, determining an interaction between the person and the product item based on the data collected by one or more of the sensors, storing information associating the product item with the person; and deducting a payment amount from the identified account, wherein the payment amount is based on a price of the product item associated with the person.

Tracking product items in an automated-checkout store

The present invention describes a system for monitoring items coupled with support utilities. The system is configured to detect motions caused by customer actions and optimize the camera system and computing resources of a remote server. The system also is configured to sense items that are removed, added or misplaced automatically.

The present invention describes a system for calibrating a plurality of cameras in an area. The system functions by using moving objects to calibrate, in particular using people. In addition, the system implements automatic re-calibration in a specific way to reduce human intervention, cost and time.

Self calibration system for moving cameras

A coated medical device () including a structure () adapted for introduction into a passage or vessel of a patient. The structure is formed of preferably a non-porous base material () having a bioactive material layer () disposed thereon. The medical device is preferably an implantable stent or balloon () of which the bioactive material layer is deposited thereon. The stent can be positioned around the balloon and another layer of the bioactive material posited over the entire structure and extending beyond the ends of the positioned stent. The ends of the balloon extend beyond the ends of the stent and include the bioactive material thereon for delivering the bioactive material to the cells of a vessel wall coming in contact therewith. The balloon further includes a layer of hydrophilic material () positioned between the base and bioactive material layers of the balloon.

Coated medical device

Among other things, there are disclosed apparatuses and methods for medically sealing an opening in a vessel or wall. For example, in medical applications, a delivery tube is provided for insertion through a sheath into a vessel (e.g. a blood vessel). A dome-shaped seal fixed to a filament, an absorbent and/or compressible buffer, and a locking member are provided in the delivery tube. The delivery tube is configured so that it can be inserted into the vessel through a sheath. Tension is maintained on the filament to hold the seal against the tube or sheath. The sheath is pulled out, which pulls out the tube at the same time, leaving the seal over the opening in the vessel wall. The locking member compresses the buffer against the outside of the vessel and with the filament holds the seal in place against the inside of a vessel.

Delivery system for tissue opening closures

The present invention provides a medical device for manipulation of tissue of a patient. The medical device comprises a shaft having a proximal section extending to a distal section that has a closed distal end portion. The shaft has a plurality of lumens formed therein including a first lumen and a second lumen. The first lumen is for distally advancing a first reactant through the proximal section. The second lumen is for distally advancing a second reactant through the proximal section. Positioned longitudinally within the shaft and distally from the first and second lumens is a mixing element. The mixing element is in fluid communication with the first and second lumens. The mixing element has a series of baffles for mixing the first and second reactants together producing a reaction product to heat the closed distal end portion of the shaft for manipulation of the tissue.

Thermo-chemical medical device for manipulation of tissue

An implantable graft, which may be inserted into a fistula tract to occlude the primary opening of the fistula, is provided. To prevent unintentional displacement of the graft or extrusion of the graft from the fistula of a patient, the graft may be provided with a cap that extends laterally from at least one end of the body of the graft, where the cap may be integral with the body of the graft, attachable to at least one end of the body of the graft, and/or moveable along the body of the graft. The graft may also have a tail that extends from one end of the body of the graft to assist in placement of the graft in a fistula tract. The graft may be an integral unit made of a single material, such as a heterograft material, or may include distinct components made of the same or different materials. Methods for closing a fistula tract are also provided.

Described are devices, methods and systems useful for achieving occlusion of vascular vessels. Percutaneous procedures are used to occlude and obliterate the greater saphenous vein, for example in the treatment of varicose vein condition caused by venous reflux. Certain embodiments encompass the deployment of one or more vascular occlusion devices via a through-and-through percutaneous procedure that leaves the vascular occlusion device or devices in a through-and-through condition.

Vascular occlusion methods, systems and devices

A device and system for closure of an opening formed in a body vessel includes a bioabsorbable grasping member and locking member. The grasping member includes grasping lingers that are radially collapsible to the closed positions by movement of the locking member over the fingers. A distal portion of the fingers is configured to grasp an outer wall portion of the body vessel surrounding the opening when the fingers are in the open position. Movement of the locking member can cause the fingers to at least substantially close the vessel opening. Structural features on the fingers and/or locking member can inhibit proximal or distal movement of the locking member when in a locking position. A detachable arm can be coupled to the grasping member to facilitate placement of the grasping member. A sheath can fit over the detachable arm and be configured to move the locking member over the fingers.
