A system is described that can perform a method for providing a first mobile network operator system with information relating to configuration data. The configuration data enables management of content and memory allocation for security domain containers of a universal integrated circuit card of a communication device. Security management of the universal integrated circuit card is delegated by providing the configuration data to a second mobile network operator system to enable management of the content and the memory allocation for the security domain containers. The memory allocation is adjusted by the second network mobile operator system according to a second group of services provided to the communication device.

Methods for provisioning universal integrated circuit cards

A system is described that can perform a method for receiving a request to modify a universal integrated circuit card, generating a package comprising configuration data for modifying the universal integrated circuit card, instructing an over-the-air system to transmit the package encrypting the package with a transport key to generate an encrypted package, and transmitting the encrypted package to a communication device communicatively coupled to the universal integrated circuit card to provision the universal integrated circuit card. The system can also perform a method of providing a mobile network operator trusted service manager system information relating to the configuration data to enable the mobile network operator trusted service manager system to manage content and memory allocation of the universal integrated circuit card.

A method for managing visual voicemail messages includes displaying a list of voicemail messages on a telecommunications handset, receiving user commands for operating on the voicemail messages including a delete message command and in response to a delete message command, marking a voicemail message for deletion with a delete timestamp and moving the voicemail message to a Deleted Messages folder. A Deleted Message Age Indicator function processes to control permanent deletion of voicemail messages in the Deleted Messages folder based on delete timestamps and a global Delete Time value in cooperation with a visual voicemail platform.

Other embodiments are disclosed.

Systems for provisioning universal integrated circuit cards

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, responsive to a mode of operation being a reseller mode, providing a second international mobile subscriber identity to a mobile communication device to cause the mobile communication device to store the second international mobile subscriber identity in the universal integrated circuit card and to cause the mobile communication device to delete the first international mobile subscriber identity from the universal integrated circuit card. Responsive to the mode of operation being an agency mode, a third international mobile subscriber identity and authentication keys can be provided to the mobile communication device to cause the mobile communication device to store the third international mobile subscriber identity and the authentication keys in the universal integrated circuit card without deleting the first international mobile subscriber identity from the universal integrated circuit card. Method and apparatus for managing international mobile subscriber identity

A method for updating voicemail data at least partially stored at a device can include obtaining a command to update the voicemail data at a device. The device can activate a data session through which voicemail data can be downloaded to the device. In some embodiments, the device can automatically activate a data session upon the occurrence of a trigger event, for example, upon the receipt of a message waiting indicator, or upon powering on the device. In other embodiments, the device can wait for a user action or command to download voicemail data. The action or command can be received at the device after a trigger event, or at any other time. Exemplary devices and communications networks for implementing these and other embodiments are disclosed.

A voicemail system includes a memory and a processor. The memory can store data relating to one or more users. An incoming communication can be handled by the voicemail system and provided with functionality based upon a user's preferences, for example. A method for creating and managing a distribution list can include creating a distribution list at a voicemail system. The distribution list can include at least one recipient and at least one language preference for one or more of the at least one recipients. The method can further include selecting the created distribution list and recording an audio message to be sent to the at least one recipient. Translating the audio message into the at least one language preference for one or more of the at least one recipients thereby creating at least one translated audio message and sending the at least one translated audio message to the at least one recipient.
