A lamp assembly for a vehicle comprising a housing, a reflector mounted in the housing, a light source, a printed circuit board or PCB mounted on a heatsink of the lamp assembly and coupled to the light source to control operation of the light source. The PCB has a first connector for coupling to a second connector comprising a body having a plurality of resilient or elastic arms that each have a detent for locking the connector to the component and retain electrical contact with the PCB. The wall of the heatsink defines an aperture for receiving the second connector and provides a locking surface that deflects the arms towards the body while engaging and cooperating with the detents to lock the connector to the PCB. The free end of the arms extend beyond the mounting wall and are actuated to unlock the connector from the PCB.

Card edge connector for a lighting module

A lamp assembly for a vehicle comprising a housing, a reflector mounted in the housing, a light source, a printed circuit board or PCB mounted on a heatsink of the lamp assembly and coupled to the light source to control operation of the light source. A dual printed circuit board assembly for vehicle lights, the dual printed circuit board including a dual printed circuit board and a dual connector. The dual printed circuit board having a first substrate with a first layout, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate with a second layout, and a common panel that supports the first substrate on a first side and the second substrate on a second side, wherein the first layout is populable by a first plurality of light sources to be used in a first light of the vehicle lights and the second layout is populable by a second plurality of light sources to be used in a second light of the vehicle lights. The dual connector having a first jumper connector electrically connected to the first layout, and a second jumper connector opposite to the first jumper connector and electrically connected to the second layout.

Dual printed circuit board

A light assembly to ground electronic elements, including a platform that supports a front part of the electronic elements; a housing that supports the electronic elements and the platform, the housing having an anchor that protrudes from the housing to support the platform, a plurality of ridges that protrudes from the housing to support a back part of the electronic elements, a back and a front reflective layers that cover the plurality of ridges and the anchor; and a connector that provides electrical connections between each electronic elements. The front and back reflective layers provide grounding for the electronic elements via the plurality of ridges and the anchor, the connector provides electrical connections between the electronic elements and the back reflective layer, and the platform support provides retaining of the electrical connections provided by the connector.

Grounded light assembly

Described herein is a connector, an electric circuit and a lighting apparatus. The connector includes a connector body having a top edge, a bottom edge and a wall connecting the top edge and the bottom edge, the wall providing flexibility to move the top edge relative to the bottom edge, a plurality of metal contacts embedded within the top edge and the bottom edge, locking teeth projecting from the top edge and the bottom edge, wherein the top edge and the bottom edge move away from each other upon application of a force on the locking teeth. Furthermore, the connector can be connector to a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a plurality of pockets configured to receive the locking teeth of the connector and a plurality of metal strips configured to contact with the plurality of the metal contacts of the connector.
