A workpiece turntable comprises a turntable module and an attachable floor-engaging support. The floor-engaging support is preferably height adjustable. The turntable module comprises a rotatable base mounted on a stationary base; a wire frame mounted over the rotatable base; a first set of support elements extending from the wire frame having a first height relative to the rotatable base; and a second set of support elements extending from the wire frame having a second height relative to the rotatable base. Each one of the support elements includes a respective support finger that can be made of an elastomer such rubber, silicone, or urethane.

A method and apparatus for filtering pressure data from a pressure-sensitive device is disclosed. A computer implemented method for filtering pressure data from a pressure-sensitive device comprises receiving, from a pressure sensitive device, a raw pressure value for a stroke, filtering the raw pressure value for the stroke to determine a filtered pressure value, and computing a width of a stroke based on the filtered pressure value.

Scaling pressure data from a pressure-sensitive device

A method identifies a wireless device in a list of available devices to be a preferred device based on comparing activity levels of devices in the list, the activity levels determined based on prior connections of the available devices to the computing device. The method waits a predetermined time period for a connection from the preferred device and restricts connections to other devices in the list during the period. Another method initially designates a first device in a list of available wireless devices as a preferred wireless device. For each other available device in the list, the method: retrieves properties including an activity level; calculates a recheck timeout based on the properties; and in response to determining that the device's activity level exceeds that of the previously-designated preferred device, designates the device as the preferred device. After the recheck timeout of the preferred device expires, the preferred device is connected.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for initializing an application on an electronic device. In one aspect, a method includes detecting, in an electronic device, an instruction to initialize an application from a package installed on the electronic device, the application configured to be embedded in a page conforming with hypertext markup language (HTML) and use an HTML compliant variable for initialization, wherein the application is not initialized in an HTML compatible browser application, obtaining, in response to the instruction and from a file in the package, an application file name for an application file and at least one value for the HTML compliant variable, loading the application file identified by the application file name such that the application is initialized and executed on the electronic device, and providing the value to the application for the initialization.
