In accordance with example systems and methods, an equipment can be operable to emit, using a light emitting device (e.g., an LED), coded light. The coded light can be captured by a camera in the form of image data. The image data can be processed and to data related to the equipment, such as a hardware information, version of software associated with the equipment, status, settings, and other equipment data.

Communication using light emission and camera

A camera system includes a camera, a processor, and a memory. In response to a first commissioning signal, the camera system records a first image comprising a token in a first position. In response to a second commissioning signal, the camera system records a second image comprising the token in a second position. In response to a third commissioning signal, the camera system records a third image comprising the token in a third position. The camera system computes a field of interest boundary for a visual field of the camera system based on the first position, the second position, and the third position.

Vision based boundary setting and calibration of a camera

A system of cameras includes a first camera and a second camera. The first camera captures a first image with a first total number of objects and a first total number of edge objects. The second camera captures a second image with a second total number of objects and a second total number of edge objects. A controller determines the total number of objects by summing the first total number of objects and the second total number of objects and subtracting the first total number of edge objects. In another implementation, the first camera and the second camera can have a coordinate system used to assign coordinates to objects identified in a first image from the first camera and a second image from the second camera. A controller can compare the coordinates of the objects to identify duplicates to determine an accurate total number of objects.

Camera vision system overlap management without network coordination

A light fixture can include a lighting circuit comprising at least one light source and at least one discrete component. The light fixture can also include a power supply coupled to the lighting circuit, where the power supply provides a setting current to the at least one light source. The light fixture can further include a sensor that measures the setting current flowing to the at least one light source. The light fixture can also include a controller coupled to the power supply and the sensor, where the controller provides, in real time, a setting current correction signal to the power supply to adjust the setting current delivered to the at least one light source. The setting current correction signal can be calibrated to an actual value of the at least one discrete component of the lighting circuit.
