The disclosed apparatus may include (1) a faceplate that facilitates at least one connection between at least one communication cable and a line card that forwards traffic in connection with a network, (2) at least one heatsink that (A) is integrated into the faceplate and (B) absorbs heat dissipated by at least one electronic component included in the line card, and (3) at least one mount that (A) is integrated into the faceplate and (B) enables the electronic component to attach to the heatsink. Various other apparatuses and systems are also disclosed.

Apparatuses and systems for increasing thermal mass in line card heatsinks

The disclosed apparatus may include at least one physical extension handle that connects to at least one ejector that facilitates securing a line card to a chassis of a telecommunications system and ejecting the line card from the chassis of the telecommunications system. The physical extension handle may, when connected to the ejector, extend the ejector such that a user is able to access the ejector by way of the physical extension handle to secure the line card to or eject the line card from the chassis of the telecommunications system using the physical extension handle. Additionally or alternatively, the physical extension handle may facilitate physically supporting one or more communication cables connected to the line card in a horizontal orientation such that the communication cables avoid hanging down vertically directly from the chassis. Various other apparatuses and systems are also disclosed.

Apparatus and system for modular cable management in telecommunications systems

A housing includes a mount projection defining a first notch, a second notch, and a recessed wall. At least a portion of the recessed wall defines a substantially conical cross-sectional shape between a maximum width and a length from a leading portion to a line associated with the maximum width. The mount projection is configured to complimentarily mate to a bracket defining a recessed wall with a maximum width, corresponding to the maximum width of the mount projection, and a length, corresponding to the length of the mount projection, from a leading portion to a line associated with the maximum width. The mount projection is releasably retained within an opening of the bracket when a first projection and a second projection of the bracket are disposed within the first notch and the second notch, respectively, of the mount projection.

Systems and apparatus for mounting a wireless access point

A retainer may include a hollow portion for holding a connector, a path for conveying the connector from outside the retainer to the hollow portion, a surface that is adjacent to the connector when the connector is held in the hollow portion, a fastener for applying a force to couple the retainer to a device, and a member that causes the surface to press the connector against a connector receiver associated with the device and to prevent the connector from being disengaged from the connector receiver.

A system retains a connector connected to a device. The system includes a bail lock capable of connecting to the device, and a retainer capable of connecting to the bail lock. Rotation of the retainer moves the bail lock along the retainer until the connector securely attaches to the device.

An ejector assembly for securing a blade in a rack and for ejecting the blade from the rack. The ejector assembly includes an ejector handle movable between a first position wherein the blade is secured in the rack and a second position wherein the blade can be removed from the rack. The ejector assembly also includes a release mechanism to hold the ejector handle in the first position. Upon actuation of the release mechanism, the ejector handle may be moved toward the second position. The ejector assembly may further include a lock mechanism to prevent actuation of the release mechanism.

An ejector assembly is provided. The ejector assembly is detachably coupled to a circuit board to allow the circuit board to be locked in a chassis and separated from the chassis. The ejector assembly comprises a base portion and a locking portion. The base portion is rotatably coupled to the circuit board via a connector. The locking portion is capable of locking the circuit board into place when the ejector assembly is moved from a first position to a second position while the circuit board is in the chassis. In an alternative embodiment, the ejector assembly further comprises a holder to hold a number of cables.
