Embodiments herein relate to high output LED light sources with heat sinks. In an embodiment, a high-output LED light source is included having at least one LED; a circuit board, wherein the at least one LED is mounted on a first side of the circuit board; and a coil shaped heat sink, wherein the coil shaped heat sink is thermally bonded to a second side of the circuit board. In an embodiment, a high-output LED light source is included having at least one LED, a circuit board, wherein the at least one LED is mounted on a first side of the circuit board and a continuous flat wire heat sink. The continuous flat wire heat sink can be soldered to a second side of the circuit board and the continuous flat wire heat sink can be oriented perpendicular to the circuit board. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Embodiments disclosed herein include to interconnectable circuit boards that can be constructed into three-dimensional shapes for use as lighting sources. An interconnectable circuit board array is included having a plurality of circuit board assemblies. The circuit board assemblies can include a first longitudinal edge, and a second longitudinal edge, and a plurality of bendable lateral board to board connectors. The plurality of bendable lateral board to board connectors are configured to provide electrical communication between a first circuit board from amongst the plurality of circuit board assemblies and a second circuit board from amongst the plurality of circuit board assemblies. Longitudinal edges of the first circuit board and of the second circuit board define a gap between the first circuit board and the second circuit board. The gap being bridged by at least one of the lateral board to board connectors. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Interconnectable circuit boards adapted for three-dimensional constructions as lighting sources

In an embodiment, a solid-state lighting circuit is included herein having a first plurality of emitters configured to output light of a first color and a second plurality of emitters configured to output light of a second color. The circuit further includes a current limiting circuit and at least one biasing resistor operably connected to the first plurality of emitters and the current limiting circuit. Current is biased toward the first plurality of emitters until a preselected current limit is reached for the first plurality of emitters, such that the first plurality of emitters outputs the light of the first color. When current is provided by the constant current power supply that is at or above the preselected current limit, current passes through the second plurality of emitters such that the second plurality of emitters outputs the light of the second color. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Solid state lighting circuit with current bias and method of controlling thereof

A portable sign stand with wheels or rollers, an adjustable weighted base member, and a sign display member. The base member has one or more compartments so that liquid or solid ballast can be added to stabilize the sign stand in windy conditions. The upper and lower surface members of the otherwise hollow base member are joined together at one or more locations where the sign display member is connected to the base member. The base member can be made by blow molding techniques. One or more wheels are provided on the base member in order to allow the sign stand to be rolled and easily moved to different positions. One or more resilient members can be used to connect the sign display member to the base member.

A portable sign stand with wheels or rollers, an adjustable weighted base member, and a sign display member. A display device having a support structure and display panel is provided. The support structure generally includes a cross bar horizontally supported by first and second leg assemblies. A coupling is provided at each end of the cross bar to receive the corresponding leg assemblies. A plurality of locking mechanisms are provided for independently and releasably connecting the cross bar and the leg assemblies to the coupling without requiring the use of tools.

A display device is provided comprising a transparent panel having a light receiving edge and a face. A plurality of laser etched grooves are formed in the face of the panel such that the grooves increase in depth as the grooves extend away from the light receiving edge of the panel. The grooves include a bottom surface having a contour that matches a contour of the face of the panel. The grooves also include a plurality of diffusive sections and a plurality of internally reflective sections.

A sign stand is provided having a foldable support mechanism for quickly and conveniently manipulating the sign panel from a deployed state to a folded state. The fold-up sign panel assembly includes a foldable support mechanism having a hinge assembly coupling the upper and lower vertical brace members. The horizontal brace members are pivotally secured to the hinge assembly. A latch mechanism is operable for releasably retaining the foldable support mechanism in the deployed state.

A latch assembly for use in a flip panel sign display is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a latch pin releasably coupled to the sign panel in a manner to prevent relative rotation therebetween. A latch is disposed an end of the latch pin. The latch pin includes a neck portion and an end portion, the neck portion having a particular cross-sectional configuration which prevents relative rotation in the side panel. The latch is rotatably supported on the end portion and capable of rotation between a locked position which retains the flip panels in a desired configuration and an unlocked position which permits relative positioning of the flip panels.

A hinge assembly for operably coupling a flip panel display to a sign panel is disclosed. The hinge assembly includes pair of hinge clips having an interlocking feature formed thereon. The pair of hinge clips are assembled in an opposed facing relationship such that the interlocking features engage one another to secure the hinge assembly to the sign panel.
