A blood pressure measuring device comprising: a device main body; a curler configured to bend along a circumferential direction of a wrist, including one end and another end separated from each other, and further configured to be fixed to the device main body; a strap provided at a symmetrical position on an outer side surface of the device main body and configured to cover an outer surface of the curler; a cuff structure provided on an inner peripheral surface of the curler and configured to be inflated by a fluid; and a power feed unit provided to the curler.

A sphygmomanometer includes a main body mounted with a pump, a belt, and a cuff structure. The cuff structure having a band shape is disposed facing an inner circumferential surface of the belt in a freely separable manner from the inner circumferential surface of the belt. One end of the cuff structure is attached to the main body. The cuff structure includes a bag-shaped pressure cuff that extends along a circumferential direction of a measurement target site, a bag-shaped sensing cuff that extends in the circumferential direction across an artery passing portion of the measurement target site, and a back plate that is inserted between the pressure cuff and the sensing cuff. A blood pressure is calculated based on a pressure of a pressure transmission fluid contained in the sensing cuff.

A blood-pressure-related information display device includes a data acquisition unit, a risk value calculator, and a display processor. The data acquisition unit acquires blood pressure data including a systolic blood pressure and a diastolic blood pressure for the subject. The risk value calculator obtains a systolic risk value representing a risk corresponding to the acquired systolic blood pressure and a diastolic risk value representing a risk corresponding to the acquired diastolic blood pressure based on a predetermined blood pressure standard. The display processor performs processing of displaying a risk range from the systolic risk value to the diastolic risk value in a curved or straight elongated display region defining a one-dimensional risk coordinate in the display screen.

A pulse wave detecting device includes: a pressure pulse wave detector which is configured to press a pressing surface in which a pressure detecting element is formed, against a radial artery under a skin of a wrist of a subject, and which is configured to detect a pressure pulse wave from the radial artery; and a housing which accommodates the pressure pulse wave detector in a state where the pressing surface is exposed toward the wrist. The housing is configured so that a compression pressure which is exerted by the housing in an attachment state where the housing is attached to the wrist, and which is applied onto the radial artery is smaller than a compression pressure which is exerted by the pressing surface in the attachment state, and which is applied onto the radial artery.

The instrument according to the present invention includes a band-like belt worn around a wrist, and a main body disposed at a portion of the belt corresponding to the volar surface or the dorsal surface of the wrist. An element for executing a blood pressure measuring function is mounted in the main body. A battery for supplying electric power to the element mounted in the main body is disposed at a portion of the belt located away from the main body in the circumferential direction around the wrist. A wire is provided in the belt, extends in the circumferential direction along the fluid bag, and electrically connects the element mounted in the main body and the battery. In the belt, the wire is disposed away from the fluid bag in the width direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction and extends along an edge section of the belt.
