Embodiments of the present invention relate to methods, devices, and systems to monitor activity. One method to monitor activity includes monitoring activity of an individual including detecting a sensor activated by an individual during the individual's daily activities. The embodiment also includes comparing the sensor activation to a predetermined sensor activation timeframe, determining whether to initiate an alert based upon the comparison, and checking for at least one other sensor activation to confirm whether an alert should be initiated.

Liquid consumption devices, systems, and methods of using the same are described herein. One method of using a liquid consumption device can comprise determining a hydration plan for a user based on parameters of the user using a computing system, receiving data from a liquid consumption device at the computing system over a period of time, aggregating the data received over the period of time to track liquid consumption of the user, and identifying the user is outside a threshold hydration level based on the aggregated data and the determined hydration plan.

Liquid consumption counter devices are described herein. One liquid consumption counter device can comprise a body having a number of indicator points, and a counter coupled to the body, wherein the counter rotates around the body to each of the number of indicator points and wherein rotation of the counter to each of the consecutive indicator points indicates consumption of a volume of liquid.

One method to determine occupancy of a user includes sensing a change in resistance of a sensor element of an occupancy sensor, correlating the change in resistance to a force transmitted to the occupancy sensor, and determining an occupancy status of a user based on the force transmitted.

The task performance information includes step prompt information including the number of step instruction prompts provided during performance of the task, sensor data from the at least one of the number of sensors, and adjusting the list of tasks to be completed based on the task performance information of the task.

Methods, devices, and systems for monitoring a number of recurrent activities of an individual are disclosed. One method for monitoring a recurrent activity of an individual using activity windowing includes recording a number of sensor activations of at least one sensor, determining a number of peaks in the number of sensor activations, defining one or more time frames based upon the location of at least one of the number of peaks in the time period, and applying a rule associated with a threshold number of activations, where the rule is applied to at least one particular time frame in order to determine whether to initiate an action.
