A system may detect a vibration being applied to a tuned vibration absorber. The tuned vibration absorber may include a beam, a mass, springs, a sensor, and an actuator. The mass may be disposed on the beam at a current position. The actuator may be configured to adjust a position of the mass on the beam. The system may identify a target position of the mass on the beam based on the detected vibration. The system may generate a drive signal, based on the target position, to control the actuator to adjust the position of the mass on the beam. The system may control the actuator to adjust the position of the mass from the current position on the beam to the target position on the beam to attenuate the vibration.

Adaptive tuned vibration absorber

A sensor device may transform sensor data into spectrum data to be processed by a computer device. In an example, the sensor device may detect acceleration forces caused by a vibration. The sensor device may transform the acceleration forces into sensor data. The sensor device may transform the sensor data into spectrum data. The sensor device may execute a spectrum analysis on the spectrum data. The sensor device may generate a packet that includes a result of the spectrum analysis as a payload of the packet. A format of the packet may be based on a protocol of a communication link between the sensor device and the computer device. The sensor device may send the packet to the computer device through the communication link.

A method of controlling motion of movable components of a powered seat includes, using the controller, monitoring a feedback signal of an actuator during motion of a component. During an acceleration phase of the motion of the component, a reference state of the time-varying motion command is detected and a reference value of the monitored feedback signal is determined as a reference value. A feedback-signal acceptance range is determined using the reference value of the monitored feedback signal. During a steady-state phase of the motion, the motion of the component is terminated if the monitored feedback signal departs the determined feedback-signal acceptance range. Powered seat and control thereof

A seat actuation control system includes at least one seat having a plurality of seat devices and a plurality of control modules interconnected over a communication bus. Each module is associated with a corresponding seat control device and is configured to control its corresponding seat device. Each module includes a processor and a memory coupled to the processor and storing program instructions therein which include receiving a status packet from each of the other control modules over the communication bus, processing the status packet for updating the overall system status, and actuating the seat device based on the overall system status. The program instructions further include determining status of the corresponding seat device, generating a status packet including the status information, and broadcasting the status packet to the other modules over the communication bus.
