The battery-powered backpack blower includes a back support assembly including a back plate configured to permit a user to mount the blower to the user's back, and a volute assembly including a first volute portion and a second volute portion. The backpack blower further includes a housing assembly including a battery assembly and a motor assembly therein, the housing assembly is provided intermediate to the back assembly and the volute assembly.

The present invention is directed to a debris collection bag for a blowervac device that is carried on a user's back. This improves the user's mobility and allows an increased capacity for the collection bag. The bag's location provides a comfortable weight distribution by separating the weight of the blowervac from the weight of the collection bag. The bag has a dust dispersion system to direct dust away from the user. The bag has a closure located on the side which makes emptying the bag easier. The bag closure is provided to make opening and closing the bag easier and faster, and resistant to dust and debris.

The battery housing assembly, connected to a support shaft assembly of a string trimmer, includes a base housing member defining a chamber configured to receive a battery therein. The base housing member includes a frontal member configured to engage a front of the battery, a top member extending from the frontal member, configured to engage the top portion of the battery, and a bottom member, configured to engage a bottom portion of the battery. A first side member is configured to be removably connected to a first side of the base housing member; and a second side member configured to be removably connected to a second side of the base housing member.

The battery-powered blower includes a housing assembly including a first housing portion having a first inner surface, a second housing portion having a second inner surface, and connected to the first housing portion, and a third housing portion connected to the second portion. The third housing portion has a side outer surface configured to receive a battery. The battery is mountable to the side outer surface of the third housing portion. The second housing portion in connection with to the first housing portion forms an inner chamber therebetween. A fan is provided in the inner chamber to facilitate airflow through the housing assembly and out an outlet, and a motor is provided intermediate to the second housing portion and the third housing portion. The center of gravity with respect to the overall blower is provided proximate to a handle portion.

A vacuum may include a housing, a filter, a motor-fan assembly, and a flue. The housing defines a chamber having a circular cross-section. The filter may have an annular shape and is disposed in the chamber of the housing. The motor-fan assembly includes a motor drivably coupled to a fan, such that the fan is mounted above the motor. The motor and the fan are enclosed in a casing, and the casing is disposed in an opening of the filter. The fan draws air into the chamber via the intake port and upward through the filter into the casing of the motor-fan assembly. The flue defines an exhaust path from the casing to the exhaust port, whereby air drawn into the casing is discharged via the flue outside the chamber of the vacuum.
