A coupling system for plumbing applications including stub-ups in a poured slab. The coupling system includes a coupler and a cap. The coupler provides a glue-hub that is couplable to a stub-up. An opposite end of the coupler is enclosed by a knock-out disc that seals the end of the stub-up for pressure testing. A second glue-hub is provided beneath the knock-out disc. The cap includes a cap plate enclosing a top end thereof and is height adjustable on the coupler. A thermal expansion gap between the slab and the stub-up is provided by a sleeve positionable around the cap. The cap plate and the knock-out disc are 'knocked out' to enable connection with the plumbing system and are sized to resist falling into the stub-up. An air purging valve may be installed in the coupler for pressure testing prior to removing the knock-out discs in the cap and coupler.

Stub-up coupling system

A plumbing service box assembly is described. The assembly includes a box with a positioning-debris cover configured to be received through an open face of the box and that includes a receiver that engages the plumbing fitting. Engagement with the receiver retains the plumbing fitting orientation and position during installation in a structure. The positioning-debris cover may be retained for aesthetic appearance and/or to resist actuation of the fitting. A trim-piece provides a finished appearance to the installation and retains the positioning-debris cover in position. Top and bottom walls of the box include interchangeable adaptor plates that adapt to various plumbing conduit sizes as well as drain outlets or couplings. A secondary debris cover that encloses the positioning-debris cover within the box and further protects against entry of debris is also provided.

Plumbing service box installation

A push-fit spigot. The spigot includes a push-fit coupling member removably disposed within an internal passage of a body of the spigot. The coupling member enables simple push-fit installation of the spigot on a stub-out in a structure. The coupling member is retained within the internal passage of the spigot by a removable fastener. A removal plate is installed on the stub-out prior to making insertion of the stub-out into the coupling member. Removal of the spigot from an installation on the stub-out is simply performed by removing the fastener between the coupling member and the body to enable removal of the body. The removal plate is then useable to depress a release collar in the coupling member to disengage the push-fit mechanism therein from the stub-out.

A plumbing finish panel assembly, for connecting a water supply line in a wall to fixture supply lines, comprises a mounting panel having a supply line opening formed therethrough and a finish ring for presenting a clean finished appearance to the assembly. A supply line connector assembly is securable to the mounting panel through the supply line opening and enables selective orientation of a tailpiece for connection to the supply line. An outlet end of the supply line connector assembly provides a threaded coupling to which a valve or hose may be coupled. The panel assembly may be provided in plate or box configuration.

Plumbing supply line mounting and finish panel assembly

A plumbing finish plate assembly, for connecting water supply lines and a drain line in a wall to fixture supply and drain lines, comprises a mounting panel having a drain line opening and two supply line openings formed therethrough. The drain line opening is larger than the supply line openings and a flexible, annular seal is secured around the drain line opening. A supply line connector assembly is securable to the mounting panel through each supply line opening. A securement means, in the form of a clip is used to selectively secure the supply line connector assembly to the mounting panel such that an outlet leg of the connector assembly is oriented in at least ninety degree increments relative to the mounting panel.
