A cooling system for an outboard motor of a marine vessel is provided. The cooling system includes an oil sump housing having an inner housing wall and an outer housing wall. The inner housing wall defines a transmission mounting cavity, and the inner housing wall and the outer housing wall defines an oil containment cavity that at least partially surrounds the transmission mounting cavity. The cooling system further includes a first sprayer nozzle and a second sprayer nozzle. Both the first sprayer nozzle and the second sprayer nozzle are coupled to the oil sump housing and configured to spray cooling fluid within the transmission mounting cavity onto an inner surface of the inner housing wall.

A cylinder head for a motorcycle engine in which the cylinder head includes an intake side including an intake passage and an intake valve movably disposed within the intake passage, and an exhaust side including an exhaust passage and an exhaust valve movably disposed within the exhaust passage, the exhaust side being positioned remote from the intake side. A cooling liquid inlet port and a cooling liquid discharge port are located on the intake side. A cooling liquid passage runs through the cylinder head to reduce an operating temperature of the cylinder head.

Cylinder head cooling system

A cylinder head for a motorcycle engine, which has a pair of cylinders arranged in a 'V' configuration such that the cylinders converge toward a crankshaft axis and such that a space is defined between the cylinders at an upper extent of each of the cylinders. The cylinder head includes a base configured to be coupled to one of the cylinders, an intake side including an intake passage and an intake valve movable disposed within the intake passage, the intake side being positioned adjacent the space, and an exhaust side including an exhaust passage and an exhaust valve movable disposed within the exhaust passage, the exhaust side being positioned remote from the space. A cooling liquid inlet port and a cooling liquid discharge port are located on the intake side. A cooling liquid passage runs through the cylinder head to reduce an operating temperature of the cylinder head.

A combination includes a product container having a longitudinal dimension and a valve oriented to discharge product generally longitudinally therefrom. Valve actuating apparatus extends laterally from the valve in a direction transverse to the longitudinal dimension and terminates at an outer peripheral surface. A housing has a wall that tapers to a discharge opening, and the discharge opening has a size larger than a radius of the container but smaller than the greatest lateral extent of the valve actuating apparatus. The outer peripheral surface is disposed in interfering relationship with the wall when the container is disposed in the housing.

Housing and actuating apparatus and methods associated therewith

An actuator cap for a container of product includes a main peripheral wall surrounding a central discharge member. The central discharge member is oriented to discharge product axially. An actuator arm extends radially from the central discharge member and is axially deflectable to axially displace the discharge member. A pillar has a peripheral surface and is radially deflectable toward the central discharge member, and the pillar is deflectable relative to the main peripheral wall. In an actuating position of the discharge member, both the pillar and the actuator arm are deflected.

Detachable tube assemblies, such as those useful in remote spraying devices, are disclosed. The assemblies use a U-shaped coupling device having a base with a central aperture, flexible arms, and radial extensions. The radial extensions interfit with alignable radial holes on tubes to be coupled together. The central aperture guides and aligns an actuator rod. The rod can be used to remotely actuate a spray.

Some embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus and method adapted to control or assist the movement of a display screen relative to a screen housing. In some embodiments, a linkage assembly is adapted to move a display screen relative to a screen housing. Also, some embodiments employ a hub movable within an elongated aperture, and can also have a projection engaged with a second elongated aperture to help control the orientation of the display screen relative to the screen housing. Some embodiments according to the present invention employ lift devices, lock devices, and other display control devices, such as clutches and friction assemblies.

An actuator assembly is disclosed which can dispense chemicals, such as insect control ingredients, from an aerosol container. The actuator assembly is mountable to the aerosol container and includes a solid plug that, upon initial activation, will be caused by the pressure of the chemical in the aerosol container to move to an unsealed position. Movement of the plug is retarded by a frictional engagement of the plug with an associated passage/conduit. The device can be manually activated, but is designed so that thereafter it does not need to be manually held open. The consumer has time to leave the room before spraying begins, and does not need to be present in the room before spraying has finished.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for rapid flash-like volatilization of high and low vapor pressure components from liquid or solid emanators which is in contact with a point or localized heat source. Vaporization is promoted by a geometrically small electrically resistive heating element with variable activation for pulsed or cyclic heating of an emanating surface containing the volatile components. The apparatus is primarily directed towards the treatment of residential air for fragrancing, odor elimination, treatment of insects or pests, air sanitization, air and surface antibacterial or antimicrobial treatment, or other ambient air or surface modification by way of gas or vapor distribution.
