A toy figure assembly can be interconnected to construct a toy figure. The mating parts of the toy figure assembly are structured for friction fit attachment and include an upper body part including a neck portion and a trunk portion; a lower body part including a rod portion, a stud portion, a legs portion, and a feet portion; and arm parts having a hand portion, a forearm portion, an elbow portion, an upper arm portion, and a shoulder portion.

A simulated baby nursing bottle has spaced inner and outer cylindrical shells providing a narrow annular cavity therebetween in which is disposed a colored liquid. The cap provides a concealed chamber into which the liquid may drain when the bottle is tipped downwardly. The simulated nipple includes an axially reciprocatable portion which acts upon a compressible member communicating with a clear liquid within the inner shell to produce air bubbles and agitation of the liquid within the container when the reciprocatable portion is depressed. In one embodiment, a second compressible member is provided in the bottom of the inner shell which is vented to the atmosphere and which is compressed to expel air therefrom when the first compressible member is compressed by the nipple portion.

A doll is provided with a sound generating mechanism which includes a cavity-defining enclosure in the head, a sound generating bladder in the enclosure, a compressible pillow in the torso, and a conduit extending between the pillow and the bladder. When the pillow is compressed, air passing through the bladder causes it to vibrate and flutter and produce a sound which is amplified in the cavity-defining enclosure. The doll's torso is soft so that pressure applied to the back of the torso will compress the pillow.

A ball holding device has an elongated handle having a cavity opening at one end thereof and a passage opening to the side thereof spaced from its one end. Seated in the cavity is an elastomeric vacuum cup which has a body portion disposed in the cavity with a conduit portion extending outwardly of the passage. The cup has a passage extending from a spherical recess of the vacuum cup through the body portion and then through the conduit portion to the exterior of the handle so that a user may open or close the passage by movement of the thumb. The handle includes internal ribs which support and engage the body portion of the vacuum cup to provide firm support and engagement therefor.

An action toy figure has a spring-powered rotatable arm which is capable of simulating a pummelling action. It employs a spring motor, with a pawl-activated ratchet-clutch arrangement which permits full winding while protecting the mechanism against damage due to excessive rotation of the 'puncher arm' in either direction.

A toy creature figure has a tongue-like element that darts from the mouth of the figure when a pneumatic bulb, which comprises an integral part thereof, is squeezed. The component parts are few in number, assembly thereof is readily achieved, and manufacture of the figure is relatively simple and inexpensive.

A toy creature figure has an extensible neck on which is mounted a head that is thrust upwardly as the neck is propelled forwardly. The mechanisms provided are highly effective for their intended purpose, and manufacture of the toy is relative facile and inexpensive.

A toy creature figure has pivotably mounted simulated leg elements which can be operated manually to effect a gripping action. The subassembly of pivot pieces and actuating lever provided is effective to readily operate the leg members, and manufacture of the toy is relatively facile and inexpensive.
