A safety device for a window covering comprises a head rail and a shade panel extending from the head rail. A lift cord extends along one side of the shade panel between the head rail and the bottom of the shade panel. A safety device engages the lift cord to control the movement of the lift cord away from the shade panel. The safety device may also shroud the lift cord to limit access to the lift cord portion.

A food storage container has a base with a bottom, a continuous side wall extending up from the bottom and terminating at an upper end, a storage space within the side wall above the bottom, and an open top. A lid of the container is configured to attach to and close off the open top. A tray of the container has a perforate panel and a tray foot. The tray can fit within the storage space with the tray foot resting on the bottom of the base and the perforate panel elevated above the bottom of the base. A connecting structure is carried in part on the lid, in part on the base, and in part on the tray and is configured so that the lid and the tray can be connected to one another and to the bottom under the base.

A storage container system has a plurality of container bases and lids. Each base has a bottom, a continuous side wall terminating at a top edge, an open top bounded thereby, and an interior storage space. The plurality of bases can be stacked to form a base stack. Each lid has a main panel section, a perimeter skirt, a top side, and a bottom side. Each lid can close off the open top of any of the plurality of bases by connecting a part of the perimeter skirt to the side wall near the top edge. Each lid has a first connecting structure with a lid-to-lid component and a mating lid-to-lid component. Each lid-to-lid component can connect to the mating lid-to-lid component on another of the lids to form a lid stack. Each lid also has a lid-to-base component of a second connecting structure different from the first connecting structure. Each base has a mating lid-to-base component of the second connecting structure. The lid stack can be connected to the base stack by connecting an exposed lid-to-base component on the lid stack to an exposed mating lid-to-base component on the base stack.

A storage container system has a plurality of container bases and a plurality of lids for the bases. Each of the bases has a bottom, a continuous side wall extending up from the bottom and terminating at a top edge, an interior storage space within the side wall above the bottom, and an open top bounded by the top edge. Each of the lids has a main panel section, a perimeter skirt assembly around the main panel section, a top side, and a bottom side. Each of the plurality of lids is configured to close off the open top of any one of the plurality of container bases by connecting the perimeter skirt assembly to the side wall near the open top. A first snap structure is provided on each of the plurality of lids. Each first snap structure has one component configured to connect to a mating lid component of the first snap structure on any other one of the plurality of lids to connect any two of the plurality of lids together. A second snap structure different from the first snap structure is also provided on each of the plurality of lids. The second snap structure is configured to connect to a mating base component on the bottom of the base to connect any one of the plurality of lids to any one of the plurality of container bases.

Each lid also has a lid-to-base component, which is part of a second connecting structure and is different from the first connecting structure components. Each base has a mating lid-to-base component of the second connecting structure. Each lid-to-base component is configured to connect to each mating lid-to-base component to connect any one of the plurality of lids to the bottom of any one of the plurality of container bases.

A writing instrument has a barrel, a flag dispenser partially inserted into the barrel, and a rotating or sliding cover that engages with and covers the flag dispenser. In different positions, the rotating or sliding cover enables various functions of the flag dispenser. For example, the cover may be moved into a position to enable withdrawal of tape flags by a user. The cover may also be configured to move into a position that covers and protects the tape flags. In refillable embodiments of the writing instrument, the cover may also be removed to enable a flip cover portion of the flag dispenser to be opened to provide access to a tape flag chamber.

In one embodiment of a writing instrument with a tape flag dispenser, a writing instrument has a body portion, a writing tip, and a flag dispenser that can be attached to and detached from the body portion. The flag dispenser holds a supply of tape flags, such as a folded stack of tape flags, which can be removed through an opening in the dispenser. The flag dispenser can be, for example, a cap that covers the writing tip or an attachment that affixes to an end of the body portion. In another embodiment, a writing instrument has a body portion, a writing tip, a flag dispenser integrally incorporated into the body portion, a containing section housed in the flag dispenser, and an opening in the containing section through which tape flags can be issued.
