A screw bunch includes a plurality of screws grouped together in a bunch with the enlarged head end of each screw toward a first end of the bunch and the pointed tip end of each screw toward a second end of the bunch. The screws are held together in the bunch by a band structure that extends around the bunch and that engages with the shanks of a multiplicity of the screws that are located along a perimeter of the bunch. The enlarged head ends of the screws are axially staggered. The band structure may be formed by a shrink wrap plastic band that can be separated from the bunch manually to enable individual retrieval of screws from the bunch for use. A method and machinery for production of the screw bunch is also provided.

The vending apparatus contains one or more storage containers filled with items for sale, and the one or more storage containers may include indicia that are readable by the robot and provide information to outside parties. The robot is configured to monitor the items for sale within the vending apparatus, as well as the level of inventory within each storage container. The vending apparatus may transmit information relating to its included items for sale to an external server, where maintenance and refreshment operations can be implemented in an efficient, cost-effective manner.

Automated vending inventory management apparatuses and method

A dye sublimation apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus is configured to either print one or more images onto transfer media, or to print images directly onto products. A selected product to receive the image(s) is positioned on a platen configured to receive one or more types of such products into channels matching those products' dimensions. Proper positioning of the transfer media (or the product, when directly printed) is facilitated by aligning fiducial markers printed on the transfer media and/or product with one or more lights disposed on the platen. The apparatus comprises one or more heating platens configured to sublimate one or more sides of the product in a single thermal cycle with a predetermined temperature, pressure, and duration based on properties of the product. The product platen is translated inside and out of the apparatus by a reversible motor.
