A device for detecting a visual accessibility violation (VAV) is disclosed, which includes a processor and a computer-readable medium in communication with the processor, the computer-readable medium including instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to control the device to perform receiving, from a host, theming data indicating a color theme; rendering, based on the received theming data, a graphical user interface (GUI) at a client, the GUI including a first visual element having a first color; determining whether the first color selected for the first visual element causes a VAV with respect to a second color of a second visual element displayed on the GUI; and in response to determining that the first color causes the VAV, generating a first VAV report.

Graphical user interface visual accessiblity violation detection and alerting

System and methods are directed to displaying interactive content with static content in a user interface of an application. More specifically, it may be determined that an interactive component is to be rendered in a user interface of a first application, where the user interface includes static content. In response to determining that the interactive component is it be rendered, at least one linking parameter may be determined for linking the interactive component with interactive content stored in a shared storage. Based on the at least one linking parameter, the interactive component may be rendered in the user interface of the first application in-line with the static content of the user interface of the first application. Changes to the interactive content made by a second user of a second application may then be updated within the interactive component rendered in the user interface of the first application.

Interactive components for user collaboration

Traditional messaging applications (such as email, social networking platforms, text, instant messaging, chat, etc.) are ill-equipped for collaboration. For instance, a sender and recipients corresponding regarding a topic are often required to exchange multiple messages. As a result, determining a consensus regarding the topic or summarizing the collaboration is difficult and cumbersome. Moreover, when links are included in messages, recipients are required to navigate away from the messaging application to view the linked content. A messaging application is provided that may be configured to enable users to dynamically collaborate regarding links or data within a sent message or a receive message. In aspects, a collaborative user experience (UX) is provided, which may be an interface within a message that enables real-time collaboration between a sender and one or more recipients regarding message content—without exchanging additional messages or navigating away from the messaging application.

Converting links and static data into collaborative user experiences

Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure pertain to management over the type of notification that is generated and presented to a user relative to an occurrence of a message notification. Processing is executed that evaluates a relevance of a content update to content that is already presented to a user through host application/service endpoints. This helps determine how to present a graphical user interface (GUI) notification as well as link that GUI notification to existing communications that are identified as contextually relevant. Trained artificial intelligence modeling is applied that executes relevance analysis to aid generation of a GUI notification. Said relevance analysis correlates a content portion, of a content update, with a content sub-range assigned in a live representation of the distributed collaborative canvas, where a live representation is an editable and synchronized representation of the distributed collaborative canvas that presents the content sub-range inline within a host application/service endpoint.

Automated notification of content update providing live representation of content inline through host service endpoint(s)

The present disclosure is directed to automated notification generation, where a generated notification comprises a live representation of a content update that is linked and synchronized with a distributed collaborative canvas (or other source content) comprising the content portion which is being updated. A non-limiting example of a content update is a message notification, such as an at-mention (@mention), that is included inline within a content portion. Other triggers for automated notification generation are also described. Generation of an exemplary notification comprises a contextual relevance analysis that not only selects, for a recipient of the message notification, a specific host application/service endpoint to present the notification in but also determines how/what specific content to present inline within the selected host application/service endpoint. The notification is automatically generated and provided to a selected host application/service endpoint for rendering of the notification inline with content of the host application/service endpoint.

Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure enable creation and management of representations of content through the execution of copy actions, paste actions or a combination thereof. An indication of a copy action is received that copies a content portion. The copy action is analyzed to generate a (live) representation of the content portion. Other examples of representations are also generatable including a static representation and/or a live non-editable representation. As an example, a live representation is an editable and synchronized representation of the content portion that is synchronized with original source content. The live representation comprises a selectable data link that links back to the original source content and an editable representation of the content portion. In response to receiving an indication of a paste action, the live representation of the content portion is automatically rendered inline within a graphical user interface of a host application/service endpoint.
