In some implementations, a controller may receive a command to adjust a setting of the screed assembly. The controller may obtain temperature data from one or more sensor devices of the screed assembly. The controller may determine, based on the temperature data, a corresponding temperature of one or more components of the screed assembly. The controller may selectively cause the setting to be adjusted or preventing the setting from being adjusted based on the corresponding temperature of the one or more components, the setting being adjusted based on determining that the corresponding temperature satisfies a temperature threshold, or the setting being prevented from being adjusted based on determining that the corresponding temperature does not satisfy the temperature threshold.

The present disclosure includes various methods systems and apparatuses for carbon dioxide capture and utilization such as for encapsulation in asphalt. For example, a method can include combusting fuel to generate a flow of exhaust from a working machine operating to perform one or more asphalt related tasks, capturing CO2 from the exhaust, storing the CO2 in a storage unit onboard the working machine, forming asphalt that includes an amount of the CO2 from the storage unit by selectively mixing the amount of the CO2 from the storage unit with calcium, and using the asphalt that is formed that includes the amount of the CO2 from the storage unit encapsulated therein at a jobsite.

A work machine may include a source of electrical power, a ground engaging traction system, and an implement for performing work. The work machine may also include one or more motors operable to use the electrical power from the power source to operate the ground engaging traction system to cause the work machine to travel along the ground and operable to use the electrical power from the power source to operate the implement. The work machine may also include a reserve power component configured to receive a reserve power amount from a user or automatically determine the reserve power amount, compare an available power amount to the reserve power amount to establish a comparison, and issue alerts or impart controls on operation of the work machine based on the comparison.

The method can include receiving telematics data related to total drive motor current for an individual machine and receiving telematics data related to a slope angle for the individual machine. The method can further include receiving a machine type of the individual machine and selecting a compaction lookup table corresponding to the individual machine type. A compaction value is determined from the selected lookup table based on the total drive motor current and the slope angle.

The displayed at least part of the multi-material property map including visual indicia indicating the first one or more material properties, the first timestamp, the first location, a first layer, etc. and one or more of a subsequent timestamp, the first location, a subsequent layer, and the like.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses can determine weight of a machine using rolling resistance. The machine may be electrified, either all-electrically powered or partially electrically powered. The rolling resistance can be determined based on motor signaling from one or more motor sensors that sense motor characteristics (e.g., drawn current) from one or more electric motors that drive the machine. The weight of the machine can be determined using the determined rolling resistance. Weight information can be output for display on a display and/or for storing in computer-readable storage onboard and/or offboard the machine.

A guidance system acquires position information representing the first compacted lane. A second pass is performed to compact a second portion of the work area adjacent the first portion. The guidance system acquires current position information of the machine representing current positioning of the machine during the second pass. Comparing the position information of the machine representing the first compacted lane with the current position information, determines whether the current positioning overlaps the first compacted lane a specified amount. When the second pass is determined to overlap the first compacted lane, in-compliance visual indicia is generated. When the second pass is determined to not overlap the first compacted lane with the specified amount, out of compliance visual indicia is generated.

As the work machine executes a work function, the operator identification, an initial operator-specific configuration, and sensed performance metrics are transmitted to a control system for the worksite. Linking the operator identification to one or both of the initial operator-specific configuration and the metrics, the control system analyzes performance of the work machine by the operator with increased granularity and flags potential irregularities. A modified operator-specific configuration to change operator performance is returned to the work machine and made to override the initial operator-specific configuration when the operator next takes control of the work machine.

The controller is further configured to determine a first compaction effort based on the first compaction data and control the compactor to perform compaction with the determined first compaction effort. Furthermore, the controller is configured to determine a correlation between the variance and the first compaction effort to determine a second compaction effort.
