A method and device to insure that a particular dispensing package () can only be engaged into an appropriate dispensing location (). Specifically, the package and the dispenser have mating concentric rings () (or portions thereof) to prevent engagement and dispensing of an inappropriate product. In one embodiment, the package () is provided with one or more concentric ring projections () (or portions thereof) and the dispenser () is provided with one or more matching concentric ring recesses (). The projections and the recesses have similar diameters to define a mating set. In some embodiments, the concentric ring projections are placed on a closure (), such as a cap, of the package. In alternative embodiments, the projections are placed on the dispenser and the recesses are placed on the package.

Lock-out device and method

The present invention relates to a device () for emptying a canister () with a nozzle () with a first opening (), comprising an adapter () to be at least partially arranged inside the nozzle (), in particular inside the first opening (), a connector () connectable to the adapter () for connecting a suction machine to the adapter (), and a reclosable fitment () comprising a first fitment part () and a second fitment part (), wherein the first fitment part () is arranged on the adapter () and the second fitment () part is arranged on the connector (). Thus, the safety of handling an emptied canister () with a residue fluid may be increased.

Device for emptying a canister

A resealable closure and valve assembly adapted to be coupled to a container to selectively control the dispensing of liquid from the container. The resealable closure and valve assembly includes a non-mechanically biased stop selectively engageable with a passageway to selectively seal the passageway from a dispensable product, such as a liquid contained within a container. In some embodiments, the stop is adapted to reseal the passageway by the force of weight applied to the stop by fluid in the container. In some embodiments, the stop is adapted to reseal the passageway via a suction force.

Dispensing closure

A soap dispenser has a base and a cover attached to the base by two sets of hinges. A container of soap is housed between the cover and the base and is attached to a liquid or foam dispensing pump. The pump is housed within a mounting device which surrounds the pump and has several diameters and at least one shoulder. In at least one embodiment, the mounting device has a flexible arm that biases the cover to a non-actuated position. The portion of the mounting device farthest from the pump's dispensing orifice and located closest to the soap container is flat in at least one embodiment on two opposite surfaces, which assists in orienting the pump correctly. As the portion is not circular, it must be oriented correctly. In at least one embodiment, as the cover is depressed, the pump actuates to dispense foam or soap.
