An apparatus, system and method for securing wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container. The apparatus, system and method for securing wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container secures the shipping racks across the width of the container and vertically, and then end-to-end inside the length of the container from the fixed end of the container to the doors as the container is loaded. In addition, the system and method secures wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container using a securing apparatus installed within the shipping container to constrain the wheeled shipping carts both vertically and horizontally in location during transport.

The invention relates to a roller conveyor jam break tool having a molded head member that is configured to clear a conveyor jam without the risk of the head member falling between two adjacent rollers and becoming lodged between those adjacent rollers. The molded head member is constructed of a lightweight durable, polymeric material, and the molded head member can be integrally fabricated with or selectively attached to a terminal end of an elongate handle.

A load panel shelf assembly includes a shelf frame, at least one panel, a mounting rail, and a hinge assembly. The shelf frame is composed of a plurality of frame segments. The at least one panel is fitted within the shelf frame to form a shelf surface. The mounting rail is configured to attach to a sidewall of a transport vehicle and includes a shelf support configured to support a portion of the shelf frame. The mounting rail includes a mounting rail receiver and the at least one of the frame segments includes a frame segment receiver. The hinge assembly includes first and second hinge segments which are pivotally connectable by a pivot pin disposed through both the first and second hinge segments. The first hinge segment and the second hinge segment each have a cross-section profile that is configured to fit into the cross-section profiles of the mounting rail receiver and the frame segment receiver, respectively.

A stowable floor panel system includes a horizontal railing coupled to a sidewall of a package delivery vehicle where the horizontal railing includes an upper and a lower track that are spaced apart from each other. The upper track defines an upper channel, and the lower track defines a lower channel. A hinge assembly couples a stowable floor panel to the horizontal railing. A hinge body has a plurality of relief features and an upper projection extending from a rail receiving body portion and a lower projection extending from the rail receiving body portion opposite the upper projection. When the hinge body is inserted in the railing and rotated 90 degrees the upper projection seats in the upper channel, and the lower projection seats in the lower channel. A hook assembly maintains the stowable floor panel in a stowed position and includes a cam block with a cam surface that is configured to direct the hook to a rest position with the hook-shaped portion disposed generally parallel to the sidewall of the package delivery vehicle.

An exemplary system for use in a package delivery vehicle is provided that may include a hinge member that includes a first opening and a hinge body that includes a second opening that is pivotally coupled to the first opening so that the hinge body can pivot with respect to the hinge member. The hinge body also includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion that extends from the first protrusion. The first and second protrusions are slideable within a key structure that extends at least partway along a longitudinal axis of an edge railing of the package delivery vehicle.

A diverter swing arm for diverting an article from a conveying surface comprises a central body having a unitary construction and including a pusher portion that has an external face for engaging and diverting a particular article from the conveying surface, and a linkage arm that facilitates connection to an actuator, and a pivot pin received in an opening defined by the central body, said pivot pin defining a pivot axis for rotation of the diverter swing arm relative to the conveying surface. There is no molded-in metal skeleton or frame in the diverter swing arm.

A slope plate carrousel carriage frame according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a slope plate support member. The slope plate support member is configured to support a slope plate of the carrousel system. A lower carriage is coupled to the slope plate support member. The carriage frame also includes at least one removable connecting link.
