Removable ice traction device for footwear

A footwear traction device is provided that is removably attachable to an item of footwear. The footwear traction device comprises a traction portion having one or more traction elements on a bottom thereof, a heel support portion disposed at a rear traction portion, and a forefoot support portion disposed at a forefoot traction portion. A cable extends through cable guides or channels and attaches the traction portion, the heel support portion, and the forefoot support portion together. A cable reel device is rotatably operable to adjust a length of the cable to selectively secure and unsecure the footwear traction device to the item of footwear. Shortening the length of the cable tightens the traction portion, the heel support portion and the forefoot support portion inwardly against the item of footwear, thereby securing the footwear traction device to the footwear.

Overshoe footwear traction device

A wader sock for use beneath a pair of waterproof boots or in a pair of hip or chest waders as would be used by an outdoorsman or fisherman. The socks are water resistant and have a neoprene construction sandwiched between two sheer layers of polymer fabric. The sock has several panels of conventional neoprene and a single panel of perforated neoprene spanning under the sole and behind calf panel that allows for the ejection of water when the wearer walks. There is a unitary piece foldable upper cuff with a top hook for connection to the waders.

Wader sock

A sole designed for attachment to an article of footwear, made of a hard polymer outsole connection plate affixed to a flexible polymer outsole that has a series of threaded imbed anchors housed therein for the attachment of various designs of interchangeable cleats. The cleats reside in detents formed on planar channels across the width of the outsole and extend above a series of tapered raised pads formed on the bottom face of the outsole.

A sole plate assembly comprising a sole plate with at least two or more engageable elements disposed along a peripheral portion of the sole plate, the engageable elements each being adapted to engage a complementary engageable element associated with a sole to form a male-female pair of elements that provide an interference fit that helps secure the sole plate to the sole; and a sole adapted to receive the sole plate.

Shoe having a replaceable sole

A shoe has a thin cavity in the bottom surface of its sole which releasably receives a thin sole plate. The sidewall of the cavity includes flaps which extend into the cavity. The sole plate has depressions which receive the flaps when the sole plate is placed in the cavity and pushed past the flaps.
