A system for a portable cooling device is disclosed herein. The portable cooling device comprises a housing and a door with a handle coupled to the housing for providing access to the interior of the housing. The door and housing are insulated. At least one fan is provided in the interior of housing. In an embodiment, a plurality of fans are configured on each surface defining the interior of the housing. A cooling medium source is in fluid communication with the housing. The cooling medium source is configured to release a cooling medium in the interior of the housing for cooling an edible item or beverage placed in the interior of the housing. The portable cooling device can be powered through solar means or through traditional electrical means. The power is necessary to operate the fans and the cooling medium source.

Portable cooling device

A colorant dispenser having a modular design includes a colorant pump with abrasion resistant coating and needle bearings for a long pump life. The pump also includes a stepper motor for accuracy in pumping the colorant. The pump is mounted in the dispenser cabinet with colorant canister modules suspended in the cabinet. Valve modules dispensing colorant from the canister are packed in groups of four for easy installation. Nozzles from the valves are made of stainless steel with no joints to prevent separate colorants from leaking and mixing. The suspended canisters and the small stepper motors for each pump provide a cabinet with an open architecture conducive to easy repair and replacement of modular parts. A locking mechanism allows for easy transition of the pull-down shelf from resting flush against the cabinet, to being adjacent to the cabinet.

An automatic colorant dispenser having a compact modular design incorporating simply installed, precision stepper-motor driven, colorant pump modules, specifically designed to provide maximum abrasion resistance using advanced aerospace technologies plus exceptional operational life utilizing high quality, high precision and high reliability mechanical and electrical components. By employing advanced performance materials and space saving, compact geometric and ergonomic design methodology in the fully modular automatic colorant dispenser, up to sixteen space saving, two gallon colorant canister modules are efficiently grouped and directly connected to their respective energy-saving colorant pump modules. All component modules have been ergonomically located behind large open access panels to ultimately maintain the system with maximum convenience and simplicity. Built-in retractable production shelves provide maximum operational versatility but retract into a compact 2&prime;&times;4&prime; footprint weighing only 440 pounds. Stainless steel used on all working surfaces and advanced twin epoxy powder paint protects the modular cabinet.

Modular automatic colorant dispenser

In a paint mixing apparatus, a paint can carrying bail retaining device, said device comprising a retaining ring that is movably attached to a blending bucket, said bucket having a diameter selected such that a paint can easily be inserted therein for the mixing or blending operation. The retaining ring has a radius slightly larger than the radius of the mixing bucket plus the thickness of the paint can carrying bail. The retaining ring has a loading/unloading and a retaining position. When the ring is displaced from its retaining position, which is corresponds to its normal position, into its loading/unloading position, sufficient clearance is created to allow the bail to swing freely into a mixing position, where it rests along the outside of the mixing bucket. When the ring is returned to its retaining position, the bail is secured in the mixing position as a result of a lack of sufficient clearance to allow the bail to swing away from its position along the outside of the mixing bucket.
