A method of Sabbath mode in an air conditioning unit includes receiving, at a controller of the air conditioning unit, a temperature signal from a temperature sensor, while in the Sabbath mode. Then determining that the temperature signal is one of above or below a threshold value, while in the Sabbath mode. Followed by adjusting, with the controller of the air conditioning unit, operation of a compressor in the air conditioning unit, while in the Sabbath mode.

Methods for sabbath mode in air conditioning units

A saddle window air conditioner is provided, the saddle air conditioner comprising an indoor module and an outdoor module. The indoor module comprises a front-side air intake, a rear-side air intake, an indoor coil formed of a plurality of coil portions, and a fan configured to urge a flow of air over the indoor coil. Each of the plurality of coil portions of the indoor coil is arranged at a different angular orientation.

Saddle window air conditioner with increased air intake

A saddle window air conditioner includes an indoor module, an outdoor module, and a chaseway extending between the modules. The chaseway includes an outer sleeve having a first end and a second end spaced from the first end, a top wall and a side wall partially defining a cavity, and an inner sleeve having a first end, a second end spaced from the first end, and a top wall, the top wall having a set of alignment guides. The second end of the inner sleeve slides within the cavity to adjust the length of the chaseway between the indoor module and the outdoor module. The modules are parallel when the second end of the outer sleeve aligns with the set of alignment guides.

A single-unit air conditioner may include a housing, an outdoor heat exchanger assembly, an indoor heat exchanger assembly, a compressor, and a front panel. The housing may define an outdoor and indoor portion between a first lateral panel and a second lateral panel. The outdoor heat exchanger assembly may be disposed in the outdoor portion. The indoor heat exchanger assembly may be disposed in the indoor portion. The compressor may be in fluid communication with the outdoor heat exchanger assembly and the indoor heat exchanger assembly. The front panel may be slidably disposed on the housing at the indoor portion. The front panel may extend from a first lateral end to a second lateral end. The first lateral end may be selectively engaged with the first lateral panel. The first lateral end may include a lateral ridge directed inward toward a complementary attachment tab formed on the first lateral panel.

Single-unit air conditioner having a movable front panel

Air conditioner units are provided. An air conditioner unit includes an outdoor heat exchanger disposed in an outdoor portion, an indoor heat exchanger disposed in an indoor portion, and a bulkhead disposed between the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger. The air conditioner unit further includes a pump disposed in the outdoor portion, and a conduit in fluid communication with the pump. The air conditioner unit further includes a receptacle disposed in the indoor portion, the receptacle in fluid communication with the conduit for receiving fluid from the conduit. The receptacle includes a tray defining a channel, and a riser extending from a bottom wall of the tray. The riser includes a raised surface disposed above the bottom wall along a vertical direction. A bore extends through and is defined in the raised surface and the bottom wall.
