Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interface to facilitate reward-based real-time communication between multiple users over a network. receiving, from a first device of a first user, a request for a real-time communication session. A request for a real-time communication session is received from a first device of a first user. Based on the request, the real-time communication session is established between the first user and a second user. A reward associated with participation by the second user in the real-time communication session is determined and provided to the second user.

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interface to facilitate a camera sharing session between two or more users. A camera sharing session is initiated based on session configuration information comprising a user identifier of a user permitted to control image capturing at a camera communicatively coupled to a first device. A trigger request is received from the second device and in response, an image capture, which results in at least one image, is triggered at the camera and the image is transmitted to the second device.

A 3D snapshot including an object is captured and, each time the identified object appears in a field of view of the electronic eyewear device, a representation of the object is sent for display to a second user as if the real object was sent. The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for providing a touch-based augmented reality (AR) experience. During a capture phase, a first user may grip an object. An intensity of a force applied on the object in the grip and/or a duration of the grip may be recorded. A volumetric representation of the first user holding the object may also be captured. During an experience phase, a second user may touch the object, the object may provide haptic feedback (e.g., a vibration) to the second user at an intensity and a duration corresponding to an intensity of the force applied on the object and a duration of the grip of the object. If a volumetric representation of the first user holding the object is captured, touching the object may also cause a presentation of the first user's volumetric body that holds the object.

The virtual content item configuration data also includes one or more criteria to trigger application of the virtual content item to the real-world environment. A triggering event is detected based on satisfaction of the one or more criteria determined from context data generated at the second device. The second device presents the virtual content item overlaid on the real-world environment that is visible to the second user based on the triggering event.

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interface to facilitate augmented reality based communication between multiple users over a network. Input data is received from a first device that is indicative of a selection by a first user of virtual content item to apply to a real-world environment that is visible to a second user via a second device. The virtual content item may comprise one or more media objects. Based on receiving the input data, the second device is caused to present the one or more media objects overlaid on the real-world environment that is visible to the second user via the second device.

Augmented reality based communication between multiple users

Systems and methods herein describe an augmented reality messenger system. The proposed systems and methods generate an augmented reality content item based on input from a first computing device, generate a contextual trigger for the generated augmented reality content, the contextual trigger defining a set of conditions for presenting the generated augmented reality content item on a second computing device, and cause presentation of the generated augmented reality content item on the second computing device based on at least one condition of the set of conditions being satisfied.
