A system for managing trading orders comprises a memory operable to store an order associated with a first price. The system further comprises a processor communicatively couple to the memory and operable to identify a latency value. The processor is further operable to receive a counterorder and to identify a potential trade associated with the order and the counterorder, the potential trade based at least in part on the first price. If the latency value satisfies a configurable condition, the processor is further operable to initiate a configurable period of time. If the potential trade is not valid upon expiration of the configurable period, the processor is further operable to prevent the execution of the potential trade.

System and method for providing latency protection for trading orders

A system for managing trading orders comprises a memory operable to store a first order associated with a particular trading product, wherein the first order is associated with a first price comprising a first root value. The system further comprises a processor communicatively coupled to the memory and operable to receive a second order associated with the particular trading product. The second order is associated with a second price; and the second price comprises a second root, value, and a particular fractional pip value. The processor is further operable to disclose the first root value and the second root value while suppressing the particular fractional pip value.

System and method for managing display of market data in an electronic trading system

A system for managing trading orders comprises a memory operable to store a first order associated with a particular trading product, wherein the first order is associated with a first price comprising a first root value. The system further comprises a processor communicatively coupled to the memory and operable to receive a second order associated with the particular trading product. The second order is associated with a second price; and the second price comprises a second root value and a particular fractional pip value. The processor is further operable to disclose the first root value and the second root value while suppressing the particular fractional pip value.

A system for managing trading orders comprises a memory operable to store an order associated with a first price. The system further comprises a processor communicatively coupled to the memory and operable to identify a latency value. An air circulation system is provided that is fittable to a protective helmet. The system includes an external manifold, a removable intake duct, and a removable exhaust duct. The manifold is mountable to an external surface of a protective shell of a helmet and defines an exhaust passage external of the shell having at least one orifice communicable with an interior crown region of the shell and an intake passage communicable with a bottom region of the shell near a wearer's mouth and nose. The removable intake duct is connected to a remote positive pressure source at one end and connected to the external intake passage on the other end. The removable exhaust duct is connected to a remote source of negative pressure at one end and connected to the external exhaust passage of the external manifold on the other end. Fresh air can be circulated to the bottom region by the positive pressure source and exhaust air can be forcefully removed from the crown region by the negative pressure source to provide a complementary air circulation system for the wearer of the helmet.

Air circulation system for protective helmet and helmet containing the same

A computer system and method support foreign exchange (FX) forward trading for both order posting and execution. The system includes a central server for tracking currency trades; a plurality of trading workstations; and at least one remote server interfacing the trading workstations to the central server, with the at least one remote server mediating the currency trades between traders using the workstations by consulting pre-set trading configurations associated with each trader. Currency brokers and traders use the system through a plurality of data input and display screens to deal in currency forwards in an efficient manner. The system and method support both voice and electronic data to interface with existing trading systems such as voice-based networks, permitting order entry anywhere in the world. The system includes features such as the filtering of entities by specified criteria such as bad credit, bad geography, etc. using the pre-set trading configurations associated with each trader, so that such filtered entities are not even displayed to a trader; request for quotes functions, in which up to eight people can be selected and stored in a database who a trader is willing to trade with; and a penalty box for not trading or displaying trades of an annoying trader.
