A communications device, and method, is configured with at least one of an indication of first communications resources of the wireless access interface which can be allocated on request to the communications device by a mobile communications network for transmitting signals to one or more other communications devices in accordance with the first mode of operation or an indication of second communications resources of the wireless access interface, which can be used by the communications device for transmitting signals to one or more other communications devices in accordance with a second mode of operation using a device to device communications protocol.

Methods are provided for communicating in a mobile network, the mobile network comprising a plurality of infrastructure equipment, each providing wireless connectivity within at least one cell, and a device configured to communicate wirelessly with at least a first of the infrastructure equipment in control of a first cell. The flight path reporting configuration may include at least one of: a number of waypoints; whether to include timestamp information; or a configuration to periodically report flight path information updates. The WTRU may transmit an initial flight path message within a third message. At a configured periodicity, the WTRU may evaluate whether the flight path information has changed since a previous flight path report was transmitted.

Systems, methods, devices, and instrumentalities are described herein related to conditional triggers for flight path update indications. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive configuration information. The configuration information may indicate a trigger condition (e.g., threshold) associated with enabling transmission of a flight path update indication. The WTRU may determine that the threshold associated with enabling transmission of the flight path update indication is satisfied. Based on the threshold being satisfied, the flight path update indication may be transmitted. A terminal device and network infrastructure equipment communicate in accordance with a first radio access technology on a primary cell supporting a primary component carrier on radio resources within a first frequency band and a secondary cell supporting a secondary component carrier on radio resources within a second frequency band. The terminal device is also operable to use radio resources within the second frequency band for communicating in accordance with a second radio access technology, e.g. Wi-Fi. The network infrastructure equipment establishes a configuration of radio resources within the second frequency band for use by the terminal device for communications with the network infrastructure equipment in accordance with the first radio access technology and communicates an indication of this to the terminal device. The terminal device establishes a configuration of radio resources for use by the terminal device for communications in accordance with the second radio access technology and determines if there is any overlap in the radio resources configured for use by the two different radio access technologies, and if so communicates an indication of this to the network infrastructure equipment. In response the network infrastructure equipment establishes a replacement configuration of radio resources for communications with the terminal device in accordance with the first radio access technology, wherein the replacement configuration avoids the radio resources indicated as being subject to overlap, and transmits an indication of the replacement configuration to the terminal device.
