An adhesive tape dispenser and applicator which folds one or both edges of tape being applied over upon themselves is constructed with an edge folding guide having a planar surface, two inwardly converging edges and tape guides cooperating to fold the edges of the tape. A method of threading tape onto a folding tape dispenser is also described.

Adhesive tape dispenser for folded edge tape

An adhesive tape dispenser and applicator which folds one or both edges of tape being applied over upon themselves. The dispenser includes an edge folding guide having a planar surface, two inwardly converging edges and tape guides cooperating to fold the edges of the tape. A compression roller is provided to press the edges together. A method of threading tape onto an edge folding tape dispenser is also described.

A fireplace draft blocker which is easily assembled and disassembled is provided with a seal around its periphery of faux fur, bristles, or soft fabric and is supported by crossed rods which hold the four corners of the fireplace draft blocker in position and away from the fireplace itself.

A seasonal insulative cover for an outdoor faucet includes at least two layers formed from a weatherproof material. A first and a second of the at least two layers are further connected to define a space there between. The first and second layers include a plurality of air chambers. A valve is included on the cover for inserting air between the at least two layers. Air inflated into the insulative cover at the valve urges the first of the at least two layers to partially conform to the outdoor faucet. The air further creates the space surrounding the outdoor faucet between the at least two layers. The space contains a volume of stationary air, which prevents a movement of air current from transferring heat from the outdoor faucet to an outdoor environment.

An improved container and container system for adhesive tape reduces the part count necessary for protecting various widths of adhesive tape and provides adhesive tape container elements of low cost. The adhesive tape containers are comprised of two halves with circular side walls and outer walls intended to surround a portion, or all, of the roll of tape (i.e. regular or irregular tape patterns and tape widths), and inner wall segments intended to engage the inside of a core of a roll of tape holding the ensemble together.

Container for adhesive tape

A one-piece seal for use on the bottoms of doors or windows of uniform cross-section has a planar base and upwardly extending members on each side of the base with engagement members at the top of the upwardly extending members. The seal also has downwardly extending fins and semicircular walls to engage a threshold. The seal is held upon a door by action of the flexible engagement members being pressed against the sides of the doors by the upstanding members.

Door or window seal

A tape dispenser adapted to dispense lengths of adhesive tape from a roll of adhesive tape wound upon a cylindrical tape core having a first sidewall, a second sidewall generally parallel to the first sidewall, a hub structure and a tape retaining tab extending inwardly from at least one of the first and second sidewalls. A rearwardly extending tongue is supported between the sidewall front portions, the tongue includes a rear edge approaching the tape retaining tab and defining therewith a gap. An unwound portion of the tape passes through the gap between the retaining tab and the tongue, and the tongue is movable between a first position for holding the unwound portion of the tape against the tape retaining tab and a second position allowing the unwound portion of the tape to separate from the retaining tab.

Locking tape dispenser

An insulating cover is adapted for sealing an attic access panel. The insulating cover includes a substantially rectangular fabric layer and at least one rod for raising the fabric layer above the attic access panel. A cavity is defined by the fabric layer and is adapted to contain a volume of stationary air. A seal is formed around a perimeter of the fabric layer. The seal includes multiple fiber strands of material that are adapted to conform to a shape of a floor surface. The fiber strands are adapted to seal gaps formed where the cover meets the floor surface.

Attic access door seal

A draft blocker using flexible linear elements contained in an envelope is easily installed upon a door or window. The draft blocker comprises linear elements contained in cavities adapted to ride against the inside and outside of the door thereby sealing the gap between a door and preventing drafts. The draft blocker uses one or more envelope elements allowing insertion of the linear elements at a position other than the ends and has end straps which engage the edges of the door bottom holding the draft blocker in place.

A window draft blocker uses resilient elements held in spaced parallel relationship within a rectangular envelope and also has at least one impervious sleeve surrounding one of the resilient bodies protecting it from the elements.

Removable window draft blocker

An inflatable insulator covers an associated attic access hatch to prevent a transfer of heat from a first indoor environment maintaining temperature control and a second indoor environment not maintaining temperature control. The insulator includes at least one air chamber adapted to contain a volume of stationary air. Impermeable layers define the air chamber. Sidewalls extending from a generally planar top wall to remove the impermeable layers from a direct contact with the access hatch.

A merchandising display using pegs mounted on peg board slopes the pegs downwardly from back to front and has a product retaining bar disposed below the pegs a distance calculated to engage the bottom of products displayed on the pegs. The merchandising display pegs are sloped at an angle calculated to allow gravity to draw products from the back of the peg to the front of the peg as products are removed while the bar engaging the bottom of the products maintains the forward most product at the optimum display angle for purchasers.

A tape dispenser is provided with a roller adjacent its cutter and tape retaining tabs adjacent the roller. The tabs a close to the roller and hold the end of the tape adjacent the roller facilitating application of the tape to a substrate. The dispenser is also provided with feet at its rear end allowing the dispenser to rest on its rear end with the end of the tape remote from the supporting surface.
