A warewash machine arm mechanism includes a liquid supply shaft assembly including a rotatable sleeve bearing mounted thereon, and an arm assembly including an elongated interior liquid flow space along an arm body and one or more liquid ejection orifices. The arm assembly is releasably mounted to the supply shaft assembly via a latch mechanism of the arm assembly that engages the rotatable sleeve bearing such that the arm assembly rotates with the rotatable sleeve bearing during ejection of liquid from the liquid ejection orifices.

Warewash machine with removable rotating arm and related method

A box-type warewasher includes a housing defining an internal treatment space for receiving wares to be washed and a liquid sump below the treatment space. A wash liquid delivery system includes a wash pump having an input connected to the liquid sump and an output connected to deliver liquid to one or more spray nozzles of the treatment space. A rinse liquid delivery system includes a rinse pump for delivering rinse water to one or more spray nozzles of the treatment space. A condensing system includes a heat exchanger external of the treatment space, and a blower for moving hot moist air from the treatment space across the heat exchanger and back to the treatment space. A controller effects operation of each of the wash liquid delivery system, the rinse liquid deliver system and the condensing system. The controller is configured for carrying out at least one ware cleaning sequence in which: a wash spray operation is carried out by operating the wash pump; subsequent to the wash spray operation a rinse spray operation is carried out by operating the rinse pump; and subsequent to the rinse spray operation a condensing operation is carried out by operating the blower.

Box-type warewasher including heat recovery system for reducing air moisture level at the end of cycle

A warewasher for washing wares includes a chamber for receiving wares. The chamber has an associated liquid delivery system for spraying liquid onto wares within the chamber. A tank collects the sprayed liquid. A liquid recirculation system moves liquid from the tank back to the liquid delivery system. A drain system is located within the tank. The drain system includes a well, a liquid recirculation system inlet within the well and a drain opening within the well. A drain control assembly includes a drain stopper member and a strainer connected with the drain stopper member. When the drain stopper member is positioned to block flow through the drain opening, the strainer is positioned to block passage of tableware into the well. The strainer is mounted for sliding movement along a length of the drain stopper member enabling, when the drain stopper member is raised slightly to permit flow out of the drain opening, the strainer to remain in position to block passage of tableware into the well.

A conveyor-type warewash machine includes a housing through which racks of wares are passed along a conveyance path for cleaning. A rack drive system includes a rack engaging structure that moves back and forth in first and second directions. When moving in the first direction, the rack engaging structure moves an adjacent rack forward along the conveyance path. When moving in the second direction, the rack engaging structure leaves the adjacent rack substantially stationary. The drive system is configured to move the rack engaging structure in the first direction at a first average speed and to move the rack engaging structure in the second direction at a second average speed. The second average speed is faster than the first average speed so that the adjacent rack spends more time moving forward than being stationary. A seal assembly may be provided about a drive shaft of the drive system.

Drive systems for conveyor-type warewashers

A warewash machine sump collects hot cleaning water that is recirculated in the chamber during cleaning. A drain line is for draining cleaning water from the sump. A fresh water input system includes at least a hot water input and a cold water input. The fresh water input system has a common input line in communication with the hot water input and the cold water input. A cold water input valve and hot water input valve are provided. The drain line and the common input line are arranged in a heat exchange relationship. A temperature sensor arrangement is associated with the drain line for determining temperature of the cleaning water traveling through the drain line. A controller controls the hot water input valve and cold water input valve based upon the temperature sensor arrangement output.

A warewash machine includes a housing at least in part defining a washing chamber having an access opening and a door mounted for movement between a closed position for washing and an open position for inlet/outlet of wares through the access opening. At least one nozzle is included for emitting liquid into the washing chamber. A table is connected to the machine for movement between a load/unload position and a storage position.

A mixing machine includes a power bowl lift mechanism that operates independent of a drive motor for mixing operations, and may be formed by a linear actuator. A pivoting motor mount assembly can be used in conjunction with a portable tensioning tool for tensioning a drive belt.

A pivotable mixer bowl including a bowl body for receiving material to be mixed, a first mounting bracket coupled to and extending from an outer surface of the bowl body and having an opening therein, and a second mounting bracket coupled to and extending from the outer surface and having an opening therein. The second mounting bracket is vertically spaced from the first mounting bracket. The opening of the second mounting bracket is generally aligned with the opening of the first mounting bracket to define a pivot axis of the mixer bowl. The mixer bowl further includes a locking bracket coupled to and extending from an outer surface of the bowl body.

A mixer system including a bowl for receiving a material to be mixed, a mixer body having a rotatable output component, and a hinge. The bowl is pivotable about the hinge relative to the mixer body such the bowl can be pivoted between a loading/unloading position and a closed position relative the mixer body. The mixer system further includes a locking mechanism located at least partially on one of the bowl or the mixer body, the locking mechanism being normally biased into a locking position. At least a portion the bowl or the mixer body interacts with the locking mechanism to move the locking mechanism toward the release position to allow the bowl to move to the closed position, the locking mechanism being movable back toward the locking position when the bowl is in the closed position to retain the bowl in the closed position.

A mixing element for attachment to an output shaft of a mixer, the mixing element including a body having a mixing portion and a collar portion having an opening formed therein, the opening being shaped and located to receive the output shaft of a mixer therein. The mixing element further includes a retainer coupled to the body, the retainer being movable between an engaged position wherein at least part of the retainer protrudes into the opening and a disengaged position wherein the retainer does not protrude into the opening.

Attachment mechanism

A mixer comprising a mixer body having a motor for driving a mixing element and a bowl for receiving a material to be mixed. The mixer further includes at least one pin mounted onto one of the mixer body or the bowl and a mounting bracket mounted onto the other of the mixer body or the bowl. The mounting bracket has an opening sized to receive the pin therein to removably and pivotably couple the mixer body and the bowl.
