An elbow brace for use by athletes or others requiring protection and support of the elbow. The elbow brace includes a base and a tension member. The base is comprised of elastic material and configured to closely fit around the elbow. A tension member having upper and lower pairs of tensioning straps is fastened to the interior surface of the base, with the tensioning straps extending through upper and lower apertures in the base for detachable attachment to the exterior surface of the base. The tension member may include an anchor portion made of material that stretches in multiple directions, and strap portions that stretch primarily lengthwise.

Elbow brace

A knee brace for use by athletes or others requiring protection and support of the knee. The knee brace includes a base and a spider member. The base is comprised of elastic material and configured to closely fit around portions of the knee and adjacent leg portions. A spider member having upper and lower pairs of tensioning straps is fastened to the interior surface of the base, with the tensioning straps extending through upper and lower apertures in the base for detachable attachment to the exterior surface of the base.

Knee brace

A ankle brace for use by athletes or others requiring protection and support of the ankle. The ankle brace includes a base and a tension member. The base is made of elastic material and configured to closely fit around portions of the ankle and adjacent foot and leg portions. A tensioning member is fastened to the interior surface of the base, with the tensioning straps extending through apertures in the base for detachable attachment to the exterior surface of the base.

Ankle brace

An improved under-eye strip that reduces low-angle reflected light compared to the prior art through the use of a fuzzy material on the exposed surface of the strip.

Under-eye strip

A wrist brace for use by athletes or others requiring protection and support of the elbow. The wrist brace includes a base and two external straps for fastening the base to the wrist of a person, and a third strap located either on the inside or the outside of the base for pulling a support splint into the wrist when worn.

Wrist brace

A knee brace, for use by athletes or others requiring protection and support of the knee, that includes an elastic base that covers the knee and adjacent portions of the leg of a person, a mesh support layer covering an upper portion of the base and extending below the knee when the brace is worn, and a below-knee support panel made of an inelastic sheet material. The mesh support layer can have a symmetric construction, and can have overlapping ears, although this is not required. Alternative embodiments of a knee brace according to the present invention can include a mesh support layer that covers the patella tendon, or a mesh support layer that encircles the kneecap.
