As part of a start-up sequence, a controller of a machine causes one or more activation components of a battery of the machine to be enabled, then causes one or more electrical components associated with the battery to be enabled, then causes one or more non-accumulator components of a hydraulic system to be enabled, then causes one or more accumulator components of the hydraulic system to charge, and then causes one or more propulsion components to be enabled. As part of a shut-down sequence, the controller causes the one or more propulsion components to be disabled, then causes the one or more accumulator components of the hydraulic system to bleed, then causes the one or more non-accumulator components of the hydraulic system to be disabled, and then causes the one or more electrical components associated with the battery to be disabled.

Systems and methods for starting up and shutting down a machine

A controller of a machine identifies that a battery of the machine is connected to an electrical power connector component. The controller then causes one or more charging components of the battery of the machine to be enabled, then cause one or more electrical components associated with the battery of the machine to be enabled, then causes one or more cooling components of the machine to be enabled, then causes one or more propulsion components of the machine to be disabled, then causes one or more accumulator components of a hydraulic system of the machine to bleed, and then causes one or more non-accumulator components of the hydraulic system of the machine to be enabled. In this way, the controller causes the battery of the machine to enter into a charging state.

A gaseous fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine may include a storage tank for storing liquefied gaseous fuel and supplying the fuel to the engine. The system may also include a liquid level sensor for measuring a level value of the liquefied gaseous fuel in the storage tank and a pressure sensor for measuring a pressure value of gaseous fuel in the fuel supply system. The system may further include a controller. The controller may be configured to: monitor a pressure signal of the pressure sensor indicating the pressure value and a tank level signal of the liquid level sensor indicating the level value; store the level value when the pressure value indicates the storage tank is empty; store the level value when the pressure value or the level value indicates the storage tank is full; and determine a calibrated level range based on the stored level values.

The camera may be associated with the vehicle and may be configured to capture an image of the load placed on the vehicle. The electronic control module may configured to receive, from the load sensor, information indicating that the load has been placed on the vehicle, cause the camera to capture the image of the load based on receiving the information indicating that the load has been placed on the vehicle, determine whether the height of the load exceeds a height of a trolley line included in the path, and provide, for display by a display of the vehicle, information indicating whether the height of the load exceeds the height of the trolley line.

The control system may include an operator interface configured to receive inputs from an operator of the machine, and output data to the operator of the machine, and a controller in communication with the operator interface. The controller may be configured to monitor operator inputs received by the operator interface, monitor a speed of the machine, and send a signal to the operator interface to notify the operator to apply the brake based at least in part on the operator inputs and the speed of the machine.

A power management system having automatic calibration is disclosed. The power management system may have an alternator and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit may be configured to determine a reference voltage based on at least one measured operating condition of the alternator. The reference voltage may correspond to an overloading threshold of the alternator. The electronic control unit may be further configured to monitor a voltage of the alternator and, when the monitored voltage is less than the reference voltage, perform a corrective action to increase a power output of the alternator.
