A vehicle battery cradle has first and second side beams. Each side beam has a first and second end. The first and second side beams are spaced from one another and positioned substantially parallel to one another. A center beam, with a first and second end, is positioned between the first and second side beams. A cross beam is secured with a first end of the first, second and center beams. The cross beam, with a first and second end, is substantially transverse to the first, second and center beams. A truss is coupled with the cross beam. The truss stabilizes the cradle. The second ends of the first and second side beams include a mechanism to secure the cradle with the vehicle body. The first and second ends of the cross beam include a mechanism to secure the cradle with the vehicle.

Bowstring-truss battery cradle system

A structural load transfer member for a vehicle including a housing having a first open end, a second open end, and a central bore. A first end member having an inner side is attached to the housing and an outer side of the first end member is attached to a sill of the vehicle. A second end member having an inner side is attached to the housing and an outer side is attached to a frame rail of the vehicle.

A mobile work station assembly for a vehicle. The work station incorporates a docking station, toolbox, file organizer, power inverter, storage container and a mobile phone assembly on a sliding load floor that can extend outwardly from the interior of the vehicle. The work station is removably attached to the load floor. The work station is adapted for mounting in a vehicle interior or within a pickup truck bed.
