In some implementations, a retention apparatus for retaining a rod in a cylinder rod may include a first retention component and a second retention component. The first retention component may be configured to retain the rod in the cylinder rod. The first retention component may comprise a first surface and a second surface. The portion, of the first surface, may be a threaded surface and may be adjacent to the second surface. The portion may be configured to be threaded onto the cylinder rod to cause the second surface to retain the second retention component in the cylinder rod and to cause the second retention component to engage the rod. The second retention component may be configured to engage the rod.

Retention device

A lifting system may comprise a rod comprising a threaded portion and a lifting bracket assembly configured to be moved up and down the threaded portion. The lifting bracket assembly may comprise a bushing component, a lifting bracket comprising a receiving portion that includes a receiving hole, and a threaded component configured to be inserted over the bushing component. The receiving portion may be configured to be inserted over the bushing component via the receiving hole.

Adjustable length lifting bracket

A tow kit is disclosed having a thimble slider engaged with a plurality of tethers. The thimble slider may have a generally C-shaped body with a back portion and opposing end portions. The thimble slider may also have a channel formed within outer surfaces of the back and opposing end portions, and an elongated separator connected to an inner surface of the back portion and extending in a direction generally orthogonal to the back portion to define two portions. A tether can engage the channel to equally distribute weight applied to the two ends of the tether. A sling can engage the inner surface of the back portion. At least one other tether can engage the sling.

Tow kit having thimble slider

A system for crimping a first component onto a second component includes a first portion and a second portion facing the first portion. The system also includes at least one actuator configured to move the first portion relative to the second portion to compress a die disposed between the first portion and the second portion. The compression of the die causes the first and second components located in the die to be crimped together. The system also includes a controller connected to the at least one actuator. The controller is configured to determine a value associated with an amount of deflection of the first portion while crimping and determine whether to stop the movement of the first portion based on the determined value.
