Hinge strap

A pivot hinge includes a spring housing with a central tube, a spring assembly, an upper mounting plate, and a lower mounting plate. The bottom end includes a knurled outer surface. A stop cam is positioned about the knurled outer surface and has an inner surface that conform to the knurled outer surface so that it may be positioned in a plurality of rotatable positions relative to the central tube. The stop cam also has an exterior surface which includes a detent. The different rotational positions of the stop cam upon the knurled outer surface changes the relative position of the detent in relationship to the central tube. A cam follower assembly is coupled to the lower mounting plate and has a cam follower plate with a cam follower that rides upon the stop cam and engages the detent recess to hold the door in an open position.

Pivot hinge

A lock and strike assembly is disclosed which is coupled to a latch assembly for a sliding door. The latch assembly includes a movable tongue or latch bar with two oppositely disposed catches. The lock assembly includes a housing, a solenoid housing having a solenoid coupled to a d.c. power source and controlling electronics. The solenoid is coupled to a trapezoidal shaped dog which is pivotally coupled to the solenoid housing for reciprocal movement between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The strike assembly is mounted to the lock assembly for locking engagement with the catch of the latch assembly.

Lock assembly for sliding door latch

A pivot hinge bracket assembly for use with a pivot hinge for a reach-in type cool room refrigerator includes two mirror imaged main bracket portions and a pivot plate removably coupled to one of the main bracket portions. The main bracket portion includes an edge mounting flange extending to a rear mounting flange mounted to the cool room refrigerator door jamb. The edge mounting flange has a modified square mounting hole and pivot pin plate screw mounting holes. The rear mounting flange has two door screw mounting holes. The pivot plate includes a pivot plate mounting flange and a pivot pin. The pivot hinge bracket assembly also includes an optional removably coupled door stop.

A lockable latch () is disclosed for walk-in cold rooms which includes a lockable strike () with an exterior strike assembly () and an interior release assembly (). The exterior strike assembly includes a housing () and a rod holder () configured to releasably hold a coupling rod (). The exterior strike assembly also has a metal anti-rotation plate () removably coupled to the housing. The interior release assembly includes a turn knob (), an escutcheon plate (), and an index washer (). The turn knob includes two oppositely disposed alignment projections () and a radial array of steps () which includes four, re-occurring series of three steps. The index washer has a four time re-occurring series of steps ().

Cold room latch

A magnetic latch () for an appliance is disclosed for use with a strike plate (). The latch includes a body () having two oppositely disposed side walls () and a bottom surface or wall (). The body defines a magnet recess (). An elongated handle () is pivotally coupled to the body. A spring loaded plunger pin () biases the handle. A magnet assembly () is positioned within the body. The magnet assembly includes a magnet () having a peripheral edge (), and a pair of metal plates (). The magnet has a peripheral cushioning sleeve () extending about the peripheral edges of the magnet. The peripheral sleeve is generally rectangular in shape having two oppositely disposed end walls () which include a cushioning projection (). A pivot pin () extends through the magnet assembly to allow rocking motion.

Magnet latch

A panic bar latch release assembly is disclosed having an inside latch release and an outside pull type handle latch. The handle latch includes a main housing having a pivotal pull handle. The inside latch release includes a first bar mount, a second bar mount, and an elongated push bar. The first bar mount has a support bracket with a floor with a first stop wall and an extended portion with a push rod guide hole extending therethrough. A body portion is coupled to the support bracket which includes a handle mount channel which is partially defined by a second stop wall. A handle mount is pivotally coupled to the body portion. An elongated push rod is positioned within a push rod channel of the door so as to extend through the push rod guide hole.

Panic bar latch release assembly

A combination light and pressure relief vent () is disclosed which includes a housing (), a valve assembly (), and a light assembly (). The housing include a valve body (), port tube (), and an outside louver (). The valve body has a low pressure intake port (), a high pressure intake port (), and a low pressure exhaust port (). The valve assembly includes a low pressure intake valve (), a high pressure intake valve (), and a low pressure exhaust valve (). The light assembly includes a heat sink casing () which partially defines a heat chamber (). The casing has a front wall () to which is mounted an LED module (). A lens cover () is coupled to the front surface of the casing. Heat generated by the LED module is transferred through the casing to the heat chamber to warm the valve assembly.

Cold room combination vent and light

A combination light and pressure relief vent is disclosed which includes a housing, a valve assembly, and a light assembly. The housing include a multi-radial positionable valve body, port tube, and an outside louver. The valve assembly includes a low positive pressure exhaust valve, a high positive pressure exhaust valve, a low negative pressure intake valve, and a high negative pressure intake valve. The light assembly includes a heat sink casing which defines a heat chamber and which includes a projection extending into the heat chamber. The casing is coupled to an LED module wherein heat generated by the LED module is transferred through the casing to the heat chamber to warm the valve assembly.

A grease filter () has a frame () and a grease filter baffle assembly () which includes a front (), a rear panel (), and an air deflector assembly (). The front panel has entrance openings () therethrough and a series of first bypass holes () therethrough. Similarly, the rear panel has a series of exit openings () therethrough and a series of fourth bypass holes () therethrough. The air deflector assembly has a repeating series of convoluted first baffle walls () and a repeating series of convoluted second baffle walls (). The first baffle walls include second bypass holes () therethrough. The second baffle walls includes third bypass holes () therethrough. The combination of the front panel, first baffle walls, second baffle walls, and rear panel create a primary air flow channel () and a bypass air flow path ().
