A fluid transfer system includes a valve tree, the valve tree having a master valve having a flow axis and a header. The fluid transfer system further includes a coupler disposed between, connected to, and in fluid communication with, the valve tree and the header. The coupler has a fixed length and includes a coupler multi-path flow connector in fluid communication with the valve tree. The coupler also includes a flow control valve having a flow axis, the flow control valve directly coupled to the coupler multi-path flow connector and in fluid communication with the header.

Techniques for coordinating performance of operations in a well system including receiving, using a central controller, a request to perform a next operation associated with a first operator that includes changing well system equipment from a current equipment state to a target equipment state from a first operator device, determining, using the central controller, whether completion confirmation of a preceding operation associated with a second operator has been received from a second operator device, in response to determining that the completion confirmation of the preceding operation associated with the second operator has not been received, blocking, using the central controller, the first operator from performing the next operation from the first operator device, and in response to determining that the completion confirmation of the preceding operation associated with the second operation has been received, permitting, using the central controller, performance of the next operation associated with the first operator.

A ball dropper assembly includes a main body, a sealing piston, and a magazine assembly. The main body includes a main bore, angle bore, and transverse bore formed therethrough. The transverse bore is fluidly coupled to the main bore through the angle bore. The sealing piston is positioned within the transverse bore. Seal rings are positioned between the main body and the sealing piston on either side of the angle bore. The magazine assembly includes a magazine body and a carrier piston. The magazine body is mechanically coupled to the main body. The carrier piston has a carrier hole formed therein and is mechanically coupled to the sealing piston.

Systems and methods for deployment of a frac ball into a wellbore

A remote hydraulic system for controlling a valve of a wellhead or frac manifold includes a remote hydraulic skid, control skid, and power supply skid. The remote hydraulic skid includes a hydraulic reservoir, a hydraulic pump, an accumulator, a hydraulic manifold operatively coupled to the accumulator, and a hydraulic valve operatively coupled to the hydraulic manifold. The hydraulic valve is operatively coupled to the valve of the wellhead or frac manifold by a hydraulic line. The control skid includes an interface and is operatively coupled to the remote hydraulic skid by a control line. The control skid is adapted to control the actuation of the hydraulic valve. The power supply skid is coupled to the remote hydraulic skid to provide the power necessary to drive the hydraulic pump on the remote hydraulic skid. The remote hydraulic skid is positioned within a hazardous zone around the wellhead, while the control skid and power supply skid are positioned outside of the hazardous zone.

An adapter for coupling wellhead pressure control equipment to wellhead mounted equipment, includes a breech pin and a breech lock base assembly. The breech pin includes a tubular breech pin body and a rotating breech ring. The rotating breech ring is coupled to and rotatable relative to the breech pin body. The rotating breech ring includes a breech ring body and one or more breech pin teeth extending radially outward from the breech ring body. The breech lock base assembly includes a tubular base assembly body. An upper end of the bore of the base assembly body defines an upper receiver. The breech lock base assembly includes a fixed retaining ring including one or more fixed breech teeth. The fixed breech teeth extend radially inward into the upper receiver. The fixed breech teeth are positioned to correspond with the spaces between the breech pin teeth.

The assembly includes an inner housing positionable about the inner tubular of the telescoping joint, the inner housing assembly comprising a packer configured to dynamically seal against the inner tubular of the telescoping joint, and an outer housing assembly positionable about the inner tubular of the telescoping joint and axially below the inner tubular housing, the outer housing comprising a packer configured to dynamically seal against the inner tubular of the telescoping joint.
