Certain aspects involve a lighting system including a compressible gasket. The gasket can include front and back surfaces and at least one substantially rigid support embedded within the gasket. The embedded support can be positioned within the gasket so as not to be exposed on the front or back surfaces of the gasket.

A luminaire includes a housing assembly, a spacer, and a globe optic. A collar may be included on the spacer such that the luminaire can accommodate different sizes of globe optics without requiring complete replacement of the luminaire. The spacer may include airflow apertures that promote air circulation within the luminaire when the luminaire is assembled. A wireless node may be included with the luminaire. In some examples, the wireless node may be positioned on at least one of the housing assembly, the spacer, or the globe optic.

In one arrangement, a luminaire, for example a luminaire for outdoor lighting, includes a main portion, a pivot member, a swivel member, and a light head. The pivot member and swivel member cooperate to allow the light head to be positioned in any of a number of rotational positions about a first axis and in any of a number of rotational positions about a second axis. The first axis may be vertical, and the second axis may be horizontal.
