A system and method for managing real time parcel delivery in an internet of things (IoT) computing environment are presented. One or more intercepting locations may be identified and determined to replace an originally scheduled delivery location for real-time delivery of a parcel to a recipient using one or more IoT computing devices. The one or more intercepting locations may be selected to replace the originally scheduled location for real-time delivery of the parcel to the recipient using the one or more IoT computing devices. Real-time delivery of the parcel to the one or more intercepting locations may be arranged/coordinated between a delivery service and the recipient.

Real-time parcel delivery management in an internet of things (IoT) computing environment

A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product for providing an in-vehicle display of information for an object of interest. Sound data is received from a sound sensor system connected to the vehicle. The sound data is for sounds detected in an exterior environment around the vehicle. The sound data is analyzed for a presence of an object of interest. The location of the object of interest is determined using the sound data in response to detecting the presence of the object of interest. A visual indicator for the object of interest is displayed using an electronic display system in the vehicle to augment a live view of the exterior environment seen through a window of the vehicle for the in-vehicle display of the information for the object of interest to draw attention to the object of interest in the live view.

Embodiments of the invention include methods and systems for selecting an optimal line-of-sight for a user in a multiple display screen venue. Aspects of the invention include receiving, by a processor, an indication that the user is visiting the multiple display screen venue. A user profile including one or more preferences for the user is access based at least in part on the indication of the user. Properties for one or more locations in the venue are received and a set of locations from the one or more locations is determined that satisfy the one or more preferences of the user.

The method may also include transmitting the audio stream corresponding with the determined video feed to the mobile device.

The computer processor initiates a communication session with a first contact. An embodiment of the invention routes a call from a caller to a select agent with a controller, the call being routed based on a caller profile of the caller and a regional profile. A processor can generate a new call record for the call between the caller and the select agent, the new call record including caller attributes and agent attributes. A detector can monitor the call between the caller and the select agent, the call being monitored for communication barriers. The communication barriers can include words and/or phrases that indicate a misunderstanding, and/or repetition of the same phrase. The processor can update the caller's profile and/or the regional profile, the caller's profile and/or regional profile being updated with the new call record.

An embodiment of the invention provides a method and system for detecting driver persona in a vehicle wherein an attribute of a user is identified via at least one sensor in the interior of the vehicle. The attribute of the user can include the body weight of the user and/or a sequence of activities performed by the user when entering the vehicle. An electronic storage device is queried with the attribute of the user to determine whether the attribute of the user matches a stored driver attribute. The electronic storage device includes one or more driver profiles that include one or more driver attributes and stored driver settings. Driver settings are set in the vehicle with a processor based on the stored driver settings when the attribute of the user matches a stored driver attribute in the electronic storage device.

Detect driver persona in a vehicle

A method and a computer program product for modeling early defect removal are provided. The method includes selecting a first set of software development practices to model as a baseline plan, where each of the software development practices has an associated defect removal efficiency (DRE) and is associated with a development phase of a software development cycle. The method also includes selecting a second set of the software development practices to model as a to be plan, where each of the software development practices has a configurable DRE for the to be plan. The method further includes calculating defect removal in each of the development phases as a function of the DRE values, adjusting configuration settings for the to be plan to shift an amount of the defect removal earlier in the development phases of the to be plan as compared to the baseline plan, and outputting a graphical representation.
