A keep-out assembly for a stowage bin assembly positioned above at least a portion of one or more seats within a vehicle includes a keep-out lens and a keep-out bracket. The keep-out lens is pellucid and extends between an inner edge and an outer edge. The keep-out lens has a top surface and a bottom surface. The keep-out mounting bracket has a base configured to be mounted to the stowage bin assembly at a top of the stowage bin assembly. The keep-out mounting bracket has a support arm extending from the base. The support arm engages the keep-out lens and supports the bottom surface of the keep-out lens at an elevated position above the stowage bin assembly.

A section divider assembly is configured to be positioned above one or more seats and indicate a boundary of a section onboard a cabin of a vehicle. The section divider assembly includes an attachment header, and a barrier extending downwardly from the attachment header. A first coupler is secured to the attachment header. The first coupler is configured to be removably secured to a first fitting secured to a strongback of a stowage bin assembly within the cabin. A second coupler is secured to the attachment header and spaced apart from the first coupler. The second coupler is configured to be removably secured to a second fitting secured to a fixed rail within the cabin.

Systems and methods for positioning a section divider assembly within a vehicle

A stowage bin assembly is configured to be positioned above at least a portion of one or more seats within a vehicle. The stowage bin assembly may include a pivot bin including a forward end panel, an aft end panel that is opposed to the forward end panel, a front panel extending between the forward and aft end panels, and a closeout bracket secured to the forward end panel, the aft end panel, and the front panel. A baggage retaining chamber is defined between the forward end panel, the aft end panel, and the front panel. The closeout bracket spans between the forward end panel and the aft end panel.

Overhead stowage bin assembly for a vehicle

A section divider system is configured to separate sections within an internal cabin of a vehicle. The section divider system may include a first rail secured to a fixed panel within the internal cabin. A closeout panel may be secured to the fixed panel. The closeout panel extends between the fixed panel and a passenger service unit (PSU) within the internal cabin. A clearance space is formed between a portion of the closeout panel and the PSU. The closeout panel is configured to prevent access to an interior of the PSU. A bracket is secured to the first rail. One or more connecting beams extend from the bracket through the clearance space. A section divider assembly is connected to the connecting beam(s).

A storage bin system for holding luggage or the like has an upper shroud portion secured to a supporting structure and a cooperating lower bucket defining a storage space for items. The lower bucket pivots downwardly to open and has a curved front face with curved inner and outer surfaces. A latch handle is centrally mounted in the front surface and operatively connected to a latch operating mechanism secured to the inner surface. A flat bottom plate is removably mounted on the curved inners surface, covering the latch operating mechanism to from a flat surface to support items inserted into the storage space. A number of the storage bin systems are mounted on opposite sides of a passenger cabin of a single aisle aircraft to provide a cleaner, open passenger cabin look.
