Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a portable insertion medical device (also referred to as 'self-collection insertion plunger device' or “self-collection delivery plunger device”) with the design of a brush body for self-collection of a plurality of specimens from female genitalia. In one embodiment, the self-collection insertion plunger device includes a brush portion having a plurality of bristles that expand outward with a tensile strength to collect a plurality of specimens after insertion for a predetermined amount of time. In another embodiment, the self-collection insertion plunger device has a brush body with a plurality of petals and a plurality of bristles for a wider coverage in the collection of a plurality of specimens, particularly as the plurality of petals expand after insertion into female genitalia.

A high ampacity, high voltage, fused electrical disconnect having a pair of input and output terminals carried by a housing and in registry with a pair of input and output rods carried by a cover and connected to each other by a fuse. The rods are readily detachable from the cover and the fuse. A switch in the housing signals when the rods are engaged with the terminals.

An electric vehicle battery pack including a plurality of batteries ganged together in an underlying tray. The tray preferably has a plurality of pockets therein each for receiving an individual battery. The batteries are interlocked one to the next and held in place in the tray by a housing which bears down on the batteries by means of a resilient spacer positioned between the tops of the batteries and the ceiling of the housing. The pack forms a structural part of the vehicle in which it is used.
