In one exemplary embodiment, a wearable extracorporeal life support device includes a catheter fluidly connected to a pump and first and second modular extracorporeal life support components. The device may also be configured to be attached to a garment. The pump and the first and second modular extracorporeal life support components may be fluidly connected in series. The pump and the first and second modular extracorporeal life support components may also be fluidly connected in parallel. The first modular extracorporeal life support component may be a lung membrane and the second modular extracorporeal life support component may be a dialysis membrane.

Wearable modular extracorporeal life support device for mobile treatment of single and multiorgan failure

A treatment system delivers a breathing gas and frozen stem cells or other biologic particles (FBP) to a bronchus of a lung of a patient in order to treat lung and other conditions. The breathing gas and the FBP are usually delivered through separate lumens. The FBP may be delivered concurrently with other frozen particles, such as frozen saline particles (FSP). The FBP/FSP will remain frozen at all times from preparation to delivery, and will thaw only after they are released into the lung.

Aerosilization of stem cells or stem cell derivatives for pulmonary delivery

A medical tube securing device for a patient is disclosed, comprising at least one bite block and a support frame integral with said bite block, said support frame comprising a protruding extension with at least one inwardly recessed portion so as to avoid contact with the patient's mouth, said protruding extension operable to receive an adjustable medical tube retaining device without contacting the face of the patient.
