An array of personal care product packages comprises a first package containing a first personal care product and a second package containing a second personal care product. The first package and the second package are each of a single primary brand. The first package is of a first sub-brand and the second package is of a second sub-brand that is different than the first sub-brand. Each package further includes a visual schema, where the visual schema comprises a primary viewing area. The primary viewing area includes a product identification region comprising product identification indicia, a qualitative information region comprising qualitative information indicia, and a photographic region comprising photographic indicia. In addition, the visual schema is repeated for the first package and the second package.

The present invention relates to a system for unfolding and dispensing diapers. The system includes a dispenser and a folded diaper that is within the dispenser. The folded diaper includes a first longitudinal fold that is between a main portion and a first side portion and a second longitudinal fold that is between the main portion and a second side portion. The dispenser includes a first projection that unfolds the first longitudinal fold as the diaper is removed from the dispenser and a second projection that unfolds the second longitudinal fold as the diaper is removed from the dispenser. The system may make it easier for care givers to perform multiple diaper changes per day.

Presented is a method for quantifying breastfeeding between a mother and a baby, the method including measuring a physiological volume indicative of stomach fullness volume for the baby; setting a signal threshold value of the physiological volume to correspond to a stomach level that is less than or equal to the stomach fullness volume; obtaining an objective measurement of the physiological volume indicative of a level of fullness of the baby's stomach; and providing an indication to the mother when the objective measurement equals or exceeds the signal threshold value.

An absorbent article constructed to isolate skin from absorbed moisture and promote ventilation. The article, which has particular application in the form of an absorbent garment worn to capture body wastes, has an absorbent body and liquid impermeable outer cover which stretch under the weight of the loaded absorbent body. A bodyside liner between the absorbent body and the skin of the wearer stretches, but to a lesser extent than the absorbent body and the outer cover. Accordingly, a gap between the bodyside liner and the absorbent body is created. The gap removes the moisture ladened absorbent body from the skin and forms a gap which helps air and vapor to circulate around the skin, promoting dryness.

An absorbent binder coating including monoethylenically unsaturated polymer units, polyacrylate ester units that include an alkoxysilane functionality, and polyolefin glycol units and/or polyolefin oxide units, can be applied to various substrates. The present invention relates to a method of sequestering skin irritants with a skin irritant sequestering composition comprising a substrate, a hydrophilic skin irritant sequestering agent and a hydrophobic skin irritant sequestering agent. In one embodiment the sequestering agents are comprised of modified and non-modified clays. The present invention further also provides a method of sequestering skin irritants comprising administering to the stratum corneum of an individual's skin a skin irritant sequestering composition comprising a substrate, a skin irritant sequestering amount of a combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic skin irritant sequestering agents. In one embodiment the skin irritants are bound to sequestering agents present on a substrate. In another embodiment the skin irritants are bound to sequestering agents present on the skin.

Method for sequestration of skin irritants with substrate compositions

A superior skin barrier enhancing body facing material, such as a body side liner on an absorbent article, can be made by applying, on the outer surface of the body facing material, a lipid-enriched hydrophobic composition comprising a natural fat or oil, a sterol or sterol derivative, an emulsifying surfactant, a humectant, an emollient, a wax, and a viscosity enhancer, and thereafter resolidifying the composition to form a distribution of solid composition on the outer surface of the body facing material.

A system and method for removing contaminants from a surface. The system is designed to use particles having means thereon which are capable of selectively binding to a contaminant or contaminants of interest. The particles are applied to the surface whereupon the contaminants bind to the particle. When the particle is removed, the desired contaminants are also removed. Preferably, the present invention utilizes magnetic particles having iron therein. The particles may then be readily removed using magnets. The means for binding the contaminant to the particle preferably comprise a ligand or a charge specifically designed to remove the contaminant of interest. The particles may be included in a carrier to facilitate their application to the surface. The invention is especially useful for the removal of contaminants from skin.
