A sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing includes a carrier element connectable to a first bearing part of the wheel bearing, a resilient sealing element, and a counterflow plate connectable to a second bearing part of the wheel bearing. The resilient sealing element includes a resilient main body arranged on the carrier element, first and second axial sealing lips extending away from the resilient main body, and a radial sealing lip extending away from the resilient main body. The counterflow plate is arranged with one side facing the carrier element such that the first and second axial sealing lips, and the radial sealing lip, are in sliding contact with the counterflow plate. The first axial sealing lip, second axial sealing lip, and radial sealing lip rest against the counterflow plate with respective contact pressures.

Sealing arrangement for wheel bearings, and wheel bearing unit comprising a sealing arrangement

A sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing having a first bearing part and a second bearing part integrally connected to a wheel bearing flange, and rolling bodies being guided between said bearing parts, includes a carrier element and a stop part. The carrier element is connected to the first bearing part, an elastic element is provided on the carrier element, and the carrier element has a fastening section connected to the first bearing part. The elastic element has a sealing lip. The stop part is fastened to the second bearing part and in sliding contact with the sealing lip. The wheel bearing flange has an axial projection provided such that the projection protrudes in the direction of a cavity formed by an axial projection of the first bearing part. An inner surface of the axial projection of the wheel bearing flange forms a seat for the stop part.

Sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing

A wheel bearing unit includes an outer ring, a first inner ring with a first axial end face, first rolling elements arranged between the outer ring and the first inner ring, a second inner ring with a second axial end face, facing the first axial end face, second rolling elements arranged between the outer ring and the second inner ring, and a sealing device for sealing an interface of the first inner ring and the second inner ring. The sealing device includes an annular retaining element and a sealing element provided on the annular retaining element. The sealing element is a sealing ring that includes first and second contact points contacting the annular retaining element, a third contact point contacting the first inner ring, and a fourth contact point contacting the second inner ring. At least one of the contact points has a flat face.
