Techniques are disclosed relating to computing security and privacy. In some embodiments, a computing device provides, to a service computing system, a service request that identifies an action and includes an anonymous identifier for a user of the computing device. The computing device receives, from the service computing system, a score request for a trustworthiness score indicative of the user's trustworthiness. In response to receiving the score request from the service computing system, the computing device provides information indicative of the user's identity to a scoring computing system and receives the trustworthiness score and a corresponding score signature from the scoring computing system. In response to receiving the score and the score signature from the scoring computing system, the computing device provides the score to the service computing system.

Systems and methods for providing trustworthiness scores

Techniques, described herein, include solutions for anonymous geospatial evaluation via a wireless network. For example, a user equipment (UEs) may monitor a current location of UE for entry into a bounding box associated with a geographic area. Upon entry, the UE may generate and report an anonymous presence indicator to a bounding box server via the wireless network. The anonymous presence indicator may include information describing an instance of a UE being located within the bounding box; however, the anonymous presence indicator may not include information indicating an identifier of UE and/or a user of UE. The UE may report another anonymous presence indicator upon expiration of a re-report timer and/or upon entry into another bounding box.

Systems, methods, and devices for anonymous geospatial popularity evaluation

Described herein are techniques to enable limited access to a photos library by enabling application specific virtual photo libraries. When an application requests access to the photos library, the user can select an option to enable or configure a virtual photos library, and then select specific assets (e.g., photos, videos) within the photos library to be selected for inclusion into an application specific virtual photos library.

In some embodiments, an electronic device displays suggested routes based on the characteristics of respective vehicles. In some embodiments, an electronic device receives data for respective vehicles from a source external to the electronic device. In some embodiments, an electronic device anonymizes a vehicle identifier and determines customized suggested routes using the anonymized vehicle identifier.

A location control subsystem is provided that allows a user of an electronic device to define the granularity used to provide location coarseness. A user can define a coarse location granularity for an application. When a coarse device location is reported to an application, the location can be provided with at least a minimum degree of variable specificity based on the selected location coarseness. When an application is granted a coarse location, the application is to interpret the provided location indicating that the user may be anywhere within a geographic region of variable specificity, as opposed to being close to a center point with a horizontal accuracy based on the precision of the location fix, as when a fine granularity location is provided. In addition to reducing the spatial resolution of the location that is reported to the application, the temporal resolution may also be reduced.
