In one aspect of the invention, a preloaded stent graft delivery device includes a guidewire catheter having a proximal end, a distal end, and a guide wire lumen therethrough; a nose cone dilator at the proximal end of the guide wire catheter, the nose cone dilator comprising a distal end and a capsule on the distal end of the nose cone dilator; a handle assembly at the distal end of the guidewire catheter, the handle assembly comprising a first section and a second section releasably connected to the handle assembly and in communication with the capsule on the distal end of the nose cone dilator; a ratchet assembly disposed within an interior surface of the first section of the handle assembly; a pusher catheter extending from the handle assembly towards the nose cone dilator; and a sheath disposed coaxially over the pusher catheter.

Delivery system for a preloaded fenestrated device having a ratcheted wire release

The present embodiments provide an endoluminal prosthesis deployment system and method for deploying the prosthesis for cannulation of branch vessels. The prosthesis includes an anterior fenestration and a posterior opening. A guide is disposed to exit the prosthesis lumen through a lateral fenestration, enter through the anterior fenestration, and exit the prosthesis lumen through the posterior opening. A sheath can be preloaded over the branch wire at the lateral fenestration for vessel cannulation, such as in renal arteries. The sheath can include another branch wire that extends from the lateral fenestration to another lateral fenestration. An end of the guide is retracted after partial expansion of the prosthesis, and another sheath is inserted over the retracted guide and moved through the posterior opening and to the anterior fenestration. A separate branch guide wire is then directed through the sheath for vessel cannulation, such as the SMA.

Fenestrated endoluminal prosthesis and system and method of deployment thereof

A stent graft assembly having a tubular body and a constraining patch attached to the interior surface of the tubular body. The constraining patch delineates a small passageway close to the inner surface of the tubular body. A cannula may extend through the passageway.

A sheath is disposed coaxially around the guide wire catheter and includes two splits that enable the retraction of the sheath while the access sheaths are disposed within the respective access port of the manifold.

Delivery system for preloaded fenestrated device

An endovascular prosthesis and method of constructing a prosthesis device for implantation into the lumen of a body vessel. The endovascular prosthesis includes a fenestration in the device surrounded by an inner edge, and the inner edge further surrounded by an outer edge of larger diameter. A shaped protrusion of semi-rigid graft material spans the distance between the inner edge and the outer edge connecting the two edges. The shape protrusion has a surface area larger than the plane of the tubular body between the edges and therefore will have excess material. This excess material allows the inner edge and the fenestration to move within the circumference of the outer edge. The shaped protrusion may also form a semi-rigid dome.
