A child seat includes a tensioning mechanism that selectively applies tension to a seat belt to secure the child seat to a car seat. The child seat includes a base that defines a receiving region. The tensioning mechanism includes a bottom arm pivotably attached to the base within the receiving region and a top arm pivotably attached to the bottom arm. The tensioning mechanism is adjustable between a first configuration and a second configuration relative to the base. In both the first configuration and the second configuration, the tensioning mechanism defines a tortuous, nonlinear belt pathway. In the first configuration, the tensioning mechanism receives a portion of the seat belt, and in the second configuration, the tensioning mechanism applies tension to the portion of the seat belt.

A child seat comprising: an outer shell supporting an inner shell therein, the inner shell and the outer shell together defining a child protection region within the seat; an adjustment mechanism disposed between the inner shell and the outer shell defining a trajectory of movement for the inner shell relative to the outer shell, wherein relative movement between the inner shell and the outer shell along the trajectory of movement adjusts a size and a shape of the child protection region of the seat.

A convertible child safety seat may include a body configured to support an occupant, a base portion operably coupled to the body to support the body where the base portion is configured to be disposed on a vehicle seat base of a vehicle seat in either a forward facing configuration or a rearward facing configuration, and a multi-position anti-rebound bar. The anti-rebound bar may be operably coupled to the base portion or the body such that the anti-rebound bar is pivotable between at least a first position to provide a first function in the rearward facing configuration and a second position to provide a second function different than the first function in the forward facing configuration.

A child safety seat may include a base portion configured to be disposed on a vehicle seat base of a vehicle seat, a back portion configured to be disposed proximate to a vehicle seat back of the vehicle seat, and a top tether operably coupled to a portion of the child safety seat to enable the child safety seat to be tethered to an anchor disposed in the vehicle. The top tether may include a quick connect coupler and a first strap portion having a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end of the first strap portion may be configured to engage the anchor. The quick connect coupler may be operably coupled to the first strap portion proximate to the proximal end of the first strap portion. The quick connect coupler may also be configured to enable the first strap portion to be coupled or decoupled from the back portion of the child safety seat.

A coating applicator comprising a substrate removably mounted to a frame, where the frame includes an actuator repositionable between an engaging position and a disengaging position, where the engaging position is operative to maintain the substrate in mounting engagement with the frame, where the disengaging position is operative to discontinue the substrate in mounting engagement with the frame, and where the substrate includes a receptor for retaining a coating composition for application.

The tool handle of the invention includes a shank connected via a ratcheting mechanism to a male square drive. A pair of handle wings are pivotally connected to the shank at a transverse pivot hinge such that the handle wings can be changed between a screwdriver-type configuration, an L-shape configuration, a T-shape configuration or other intermediate configurations. When the handle wings are in the fully open position, the handle wings bear against the shank to create a mechanism for transferring power between the handle wings and the tool shank without the need for a separate lock. A quick change adapter having a female drive can be connected to the male square drive such that the tool handle can be used with a wide variety of tools including taps and extractors, sockets, screwdriver bits and the like.

The level of the invention consists of a solid, thin central web that is connected to an upper box and a lower box. The central web supports level vials. The upper box and lower box have a hollow generally polygonal shape and define an upper surface and lower surface. A surface of either or both of the upper and lower boxes are calibrated with respect to the level vials to create leveling surfaces. The level vials are enclosed in housings that secure the level vials to the web. End caps are secured to the ends of the web and the upper and lower boxes.

The storage case of the invention consists of a base and a mating cover. The cover is constructed of a first cover portion that is pivotably attached to the base and a second cover portion that is slidably retained on the first cover portion. To release the cover from the base, the second cover portion is moved to an extended position where the second cover portion is disengaged from the base. A plurality of drill bit cassettes hold the individual bits and are removably retained in a corresponding number of cassette holders located within the base. The cassette holders are connected to one another and to the cover such that when the cover is opened, the cassette holders are extended out of the base where they can be easily accessed. When the cover is closed the cassette holders are retracted into the base.
