A medical device for sealing a defect in a body includes a wire frame that includes a plurality of wires that form a first occluding member and a second occluding member, the wire frame including a defect-occupying portion disposed between the first occluding member and the second occluding member. The defect-occupying portion is adapted to fill a wide range of potential defect sizes, such that no more than five devices of a range of sizes are required to effectively seal a range of nominal defect sizes of approximately 8 to 35 mm.

Sealing device and delivery system

The invention relates to a medical device and a method of using it. The device is a stent which can be percutaneously deliverable with (or on) an endovascular catheter or via other surgical or other techniques and then expanded. The stent is configured to have a central portion defined by 'open' cells and at least two end portions, defined by “closed” cells, spaced apart and directly connected to the distal and proximal ends of the central portion of the stent. The stent may also optionally have a covering or a lattice with openings.

Stent

An occlusive device includes a covering component configured to modulate passage of blood or thrombus therethrough, and an occlusion frame that includes a plurality of elongate occlusion frame members. The elongate occlusion frame members are arranged to form a generally disc-shaped member. The occlusion frame is at least partially covered by the covering component. The device further includes an anchor frame that includes a plurality of elongate anchor frame members. The device further includes a first hub component from which the elongate frame members extend, and a second hub component from which the elongate frame members extend.

Space filling devices

Various features and associated advantages are described for diametrically adjustable support structures, adjustable valve structures, removable/replaceable valve structures, and associated systems and methods. Although some examples are directed toward prosthetic valve that is a conduit having a valve structure, or a 'valved conduit' (e.g., used to replace a pulmonary valve and a portion of the corresponding pulmonary artery or an aortic valve and the aortic root), and other examples are directed toward prosthetic valves implanted native valve orifices (e.g., to replace an aortic or mitral valve), the features and advantages of the structures associated with those examples are interchangeable regardless of a particular application for which the examples are described.

Diametric expansion features for prosthetic valves

A device includes a plurality of elongate members, an occlusive component, and a support component. The occlusive component includes a plurality of first features each defined by a first portion of a respective elongate member. The support component includes a plurality of second features each defined by a second portion of the respective elongate member. A first termination element is defined by proximal end portions of the plurality of elongate members and located near a proximal end of the device, and a second termination element is defined by distal end portions of the plurality of elongate members and located near a distal end of the device. One or more anchor elements include a frame attachment portion and an anchor portion, the frame attachment portion including a first portion of a fixation elongate element wrapped around an elongate member, and the anchor portion including an anchor feature.
