A system for automated review of public safety incident reports include receiving structured incident data for an incident report from a submitting public safety officer including incident type information for the incident, receiving unstructured incident narrative text describing the incident, accessing an unstructured incident narrative feedback checking model applicable to incidents of the incident type, applying the model to the narrative text in light of supplemental information in the structured incident data or obtained from another source, identifying, by application of the model, matters in the narrative text likely to be flagged for correction by a human reviewer during a subsequent review, and providing feedback notifying the officer of the identified matters. The model may be retrained based on feedback or corrections provided by the officer in response to the notification of the identified matters or in response to requests for correction subsequently received from human reviewers.

Methods and apparatus for automated review of public safety incident reports

A device, system and method for sharing information in a card-based environment is provided. A display screen is controlled, via a first computing device of a first agency, to provide an incident card associated with a given incident managed by the first agency. A command is received to share information of the incident card with a second agency different from the first agency. A subset of the information is transmitted to a second computing device of the second agency. A display attribute, at the display screen, associated with the incident card, is controlled to indicate that the information thereof is at least partially shared with the second agency; and/or a shared incident card is generated in association with the incident card, the shared incident card visually distinguishable as including shared information relative to the incident card, and the shared incident card including at least the subset of the information.

Device, system and method for sharing information in a card-based environment

Methods for ensuring relevant information sharing during public safety incidents include monitoring inputs associated with a public safety incident, determining that an input includes information important or critical to communicate to a responding public safety officer, accessing communications with the officer, determining that the input has not been communicated to the officer, and initiating action to communicate the input to the officer. The input may include audio or video input, or a note composed by a dispatcher or call taker representing information provided by a person reporting the incident or obtained through a database query. Initiating action to communicate the input to the officer may include providing an indication to a dispatcher that the input includes important or critical information not yet communicated to the officer, providing data to the officer's vehicle-mounted communication device, or providing an audible alert or audio message to the officer's hand-held communication device.

Methods and apparatus for ensuring relevant information sharing during public safety incidents

Determining whether to transmit a reverse emergency message. An electronic computing device includes a network interface configured to receive one or more data feeds from one or more first network-connectable devices. The electronic computing device includes an electronic processor configured to determine that each data feed of the one or more data feeds is related to an incident based on content included in each data feed, a location from which each data feed was received, and a time associated with each data feed. The electronic processor is configured to determine a confidence value for the incident based on an incident type of the incident, a location type of the incident, and at least a portion of the data feeds. The electronic processor is configured to determine that the confidence value is above a predetermined threshold and transmit a reverse emergency message.
